Rob Reiner Passes Away at 78

Update: As per People, Rob and Michele’s son Nick is said to have killed them. No word yet as to what the motive was for the double homicide.

Sad news for Hollywood this evening. Director Rob Reiner, known for his work on When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride and A Few Good Men, has died. He was 78 years old.

 

The legendary actor and director, along with his wife Michele, are said to have been stabbed to death in their Brentwood, California home.  The police are treating this as a homicide, as per TMZ.

The All in the Family alum most recently worked on Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, which was a sequel to his 1984 film This is Spinal Tap.

 

In addition to the aforementioned projects, Rob was also known for his work on The Bucket List, Stand By Me, Sleepless in Seattle and many more projects throughout his decades-long career, following in the footsteps of his late father, Carl Reiner.
