The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Recap for 5/3/2026
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Recap for 5/3/2026
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island on Bravo opens with the news of Kelsey’s breakup from the sugar daddy dude. She has to move out and start anew….but she had no idea what to do.
She realizes the relationship ran its course and says her ex told her this was the right thing to do.
Liz promises to help her move out and find a new place.
The ladies are going to the Newport Mansion and Rosie wants to be prepared for anything….so she is packing her sexiest swimsuit. Rich wants her to have fun on this trip and she promises to be nice……but as real as possible.
Jo-Ellen meets up with her sister Jen to go shopping. They talk about the death of their grandfather and how their relationships with their mom. Jo-Ellen wishes she had more love and affection from her, so she seeks validation with her husband and friends. It is a sad bonding moment, but they hug it out anyway.
Liz goes to help Kelsey armed with coffee. They begin packing things up and talk about the relationship ending and Kelsey moving on with Bill. She gives Kelsey a beautiful gift with an inspirational quote to guide her through.
Also, I had no idea Liz knew Kelsey’s ex.
Time to leave for the trip! Rulla is not there yet, so they say she can Uber herself, and like, way harsh, Tai!
Liz snacks on her crackers and fills Alicia in on the Kelsey situation. They also call Rulla to see if she is coming.
Kelsey needs her Eat, Pray, Love trip.
Seve, Liz’s best friend, greets them at the door. One of her besties owns the house, which is 100 years old and super gorgeous.
There are 29 bedrooms, butlers with champagne….probably a kitchen bigger than my entire dorm in college, lots of beautiful architecture….I love it.
They are having a doll tea party….which is something I did when I was five, but okay. Granted, I would do one with my nieces, but a grown up one? Not so much.
Kelsey does Jo-Ellen’s hair and says she has to quickly learn how to be an adult.
There is a Cinderella carriage for the dolls and Ashley admits to having all her American Girl, NSYNC and Jonas Brothers dolls. Full disclosure, I still have my Samantha doll and my NSYNC dolls are still at my dad’s house.
Liz falls on her way to the table.
Jo-Ellen likes Botox the way Alicia loves dolls.
Ashley always says please and thank you. I love that about her.
They all play with dolls and gossip about Rulla. To her credit, Kelsey says they should wait for Rulla to be there to defend herself.
Lots of Celsius on this show….I wonder if they are a sponsor.
Everyone does their own thing….Jo-Ellen calls her kids while Alicia plays with a metal detector.
Liz has Robert the butler deliver flowers and masks to all the girls…..all of which match their personalities. They will then use the dinner to reveal things about themselves that they kept hidden.
Jo-Ellen talks about being sent away and admits that she acts out as a defense mechanism.
Liz admits that she is afraid to lose people after her mom died.
Ashley talks about being scared of people dying and not having a sob story.
Rosie talks about how she is shyer than people realize and she tries to make everyone else happy.
Kelsey talks about her breakup and how Bill is marriage material. Oh, and she is on good terms with her ex, who still pays for things.
Alicia discusses how her father left them homeless because he stole their house…..and Liz calls BS on this since she did move in with her grandparents for a bit. Alicia is not happy that Liz is diminishing her story.
Rosie and Kelsey fight over who is honest, who is being sassy and backhanded compliments.
After dinner, Rosie vents to Ashley while Alicia and Kelsey listen in at the door. Kelsey walks in and Ashley tries to explain why Rosie is upset, while all the other ladies join in. Everything comes out, including whether or not Rosie is lying about her job and the square feet of her house, which, like, WTF? I am with Ashley here, who talks about this stuff?
Rosie thinks Kelsey is projecting to avoid people talking about her own issues.
More next week, stay tuned!
