Big Brother 28 Recap for 8/19/2026
Previously, on Big Brother 28 on CBS, Yash won HOH and made a plan to target the icons.
Dee tried to bribe him with her power, but no avail.
Melody won BB Time Capsule and got the punishment in which she announces when people have to use the potty.
Angela, Haley and Dee all ended up on the block, but there is no real target…..or is there?
Confused? You won’t be at the end of this episode of Big Brother!
Dee plans to target Yash the first chance she gets.
Kamu is tired of his name being thrown out by Dee and wants her gone, calling her untrustworthy.
Haley compares herself to a sunflower and thinks she will be fine because she plans on winning the next HOH.
Angela cries.
Dee thinks Yash should have taken the money and run.
Barrett comforts Angela, who plans on throwing herself into the veto. He sees a power shift and plans on helping her, his closest ally.
Yash says nothing is set in stone and wants to work with Haley, who plans on winning the veto/
Mallory is glad the FAP alliance is safe for now.
Dee is crying to Devens.
Yash talks to Drew about Dee wanting Drew and Haley on the block. Drew is not surprised and wants to do damage control because he needs her in the game. Yash, for his part, thinks Dee is a liar and the most dangerous player.
Melody and the rest of the house for that matter, are tired of all the bathroom announcements.
Devens debates on using his power, but knows it could throw the house on his head, especially since he has his hands in so many alliances.
Yash and Kamu make a final two deal.
Drew thinks the Crossovers alliance will keep him in the house, so he talks to Dee in hopes of staying sage. He throws Kamu under the bus and claims he is running the HOH and wants Dee gone.
Melody and Barrett will join Yash, Haley, Dee and Angela in the HOH comp.
Barrett gets wind that he might be backdoored and plans to win so he could throw everyone’s plans on their heads.
The POV takes them to September 26th, 1950. In each round, they will be given a clue to a headshot, slide down to find it and bring it back….and the last one standing wins.
Angela is out first, followed by Dee, Haley, Melody and Barrett, meaning Yash won the POV!
Dee hopes Devens uses the power to save her, but she feels like the walls are closing in.
Melody’s ‘duty’ is done.
Devens is still debating on if he should use his power and wonders if his alliance should add Mallory and Melody so they can blindside Yash and Kamu….and go to war.
Dee is on board with this plan. She decides to drop some hints to Angela so she can figure out what is happening.
Angela figures out Devens has the plan and thinks Kamu will be going on the block, calling this the best birthday ever.
Devens realizes Yash and Kamu are planning things behind his back and that Kamu wants Dee gone, giving him all the more reason to go through with his plan.
Devens talks to Mallory about joining him, Dee, Angela, Drew, Barrett and Melody in an alliance. She wants to stay loyal to the FAP but also seems to be against Kamu.
Melody is on board with working with Devens and company.
Drew is glad his two alliances are coming together.
Yash decides to NOT use the POV, but then Devens uses his own power to take Dee off the block and put Kamu on.
Will Mallory and Melody stay loyal to the FAP or jump ship to their new alliance opportunity?
Who will win BB Blockbuster?
Will Devens’s plan work, or will Angela or Haley be sent packing?
These questions, and many others, will be answered on the next episode of Big Brother!
