Big Brother 28 Recap for 8/6/2026
Previously, on Big Brother 28 on CBS, Taylor won the POV comp and took herself off the block.
Haley backdoored Lyric, but not before she made it clear she was no fan of hers due to her two-faced ways.
Drew was not making any allies either since he was playing the middle.
Haley also made it clear she didn’t want to deal with Taylor since she laughed during the tea party with Jason.
Confused? You won’t be at the end of this episode of Big Brother.
Haley wants either one of the girls to go home since she thinks they are both mean and two-faced. However, Dee wants Drew to go home, but is still considering what’s best for herself, Angela and Devens.
Drew, for his part, thinks he is safe. Little does he know that there is a ‘good old-fashioned blindside’ according to Kamu. That being said, if he stays, Kamu will more or less pretend nothing is amiss and act like he and Drew still have their final two deal.
Lyric tells Mallory about throwing her under the bus….stressing out Mallory and making her wonder who she will vote out of the house. Melody is not happy either and ‘wants to punch Lyric in the f***ing face.’
The whole time, Lyric just cries.
Barrett is not happy with the Drew blindsiding plan but knows he has to do what’s best for his own game.
Drew and Melody cry together about the possibility of being separated.
Devens, Dee and Angela rethink evicting Drew and think Melody might be a better target. They need to figure out how to get the Tool Shed on board and make them think this is their idea.
The Red Corner seems to be on board.
Paw Patrol is in charge of the BB Blockbuster competition. It is a Paw Patrol Dino Puzzle, where they must race to put together a two-layered Paw Patrol Dino Puzzle in the shortest amount of time.
Drew wins, so either Lyric or Melody are going home. Each girl gives her final plea to stay before the voting begins.
Barrett votes to evict Lyric.
Taylor votes to evict Lyric.
La Trice votes to evict Lyric.
Drew votes to evict Lyric.
Devens votes to evict Lyric.
Mallory votes to evict Lyric.
Dee votes to evict Lyric.
Angela votes to evict Lyric.
Kamu votes to evict Melody.
Yash votes to evict Melody.
Chuk votes to evict Melody.
In a 8-3 vote, Lyric is evicted from the Big Brother Household. After a round of hugs, kisses, tears and I love yous, Lyric goes to talk to Julie.
Mallory is hysterically crying.
Lyric is grateful for the opportunity. She finds out Chuk, Yash and Kamu saved her and continues to cry. Right now, she wants her mom. As for throwing her friends under the bus, she thinks it was a mistake but wanted to play for herself. That being said, she knew there was an alliance and wanted to try and play with them. Had she stayed, she wanted to target Drew and Barrett.
As for Rome? She thinks they will get married, Julie will be invited and her daddy will sing!
Josh Martinez will be on Big Brother Unlocked tomorrow.
Who will win HOH? Will Drew and Melody finally have their showmance? Will the alliances stay together or come apart? Is Mallory going to be okay after losing her BB Bestie? Which houseguest will win BB Time Capsule this week?
These questions, and many others, will be answered on Sunday’s episode of Big Brother!
