America’s Got Talent Recap for 9/22/2026
Tonight is part one of the finale on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. As always, Terry Crews hosts while Sofia Vergara, Mel B, Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel judge.
Simon is still recovering from his surgery. KSI is sitting in his place.

Royal Lasers—Laser performers: They have so much creativity between the dancing and the special effects that it makes me mesmerized from start to finish. I hope they go on tour because I would love to see them live.
The judges think they are a winning act.
Come Here—Dance troupe: They seriously put everything and more into this dance. I am in awe of them, especially since they did it to Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift….it is such an intense song and the fact that they were able to do choreography like that to it? EPIC.
The judges want to see them bring their uniqueness and creativity to the Super Bowl.
Lai Noelle—Singer: She is a double Golden Buzzer! Her voice is so beautiful and I know that win or lose, she is definitely going places.
The judges are awed by her voice and even compare her to Whitney Houston.
Veronika Goroshkova—Aerial Pole: Her mom surprising her was just as good as that gorgeous performance. There are so many tricks and danger and incredible moves that I am in awe from start to finish.
The judges think she is getting better and better!
Agro Canine Crew—Dog act: The routine was changed due to a human dancer being injured, but she still danced, the doggies still cuted and everyone did a great job. I like how this one has dancers and doggies performing together rather than just a dog performance.
It was risky, but best in show.
Hundred Fingers—Magicians: They are another double buzzer act! Holy cow, they are soooo good. Everything about them has my jaw on the floor and left wanting more. WOW. If they don’t win, they best be getting their own show somewhere.
The judges think this is the best act with Howie even offering to produce their show if no one else does.
Nene Loyal—Singer: She has done it again. Just when you think she can’t top her last act, she goes and tops it again. Luckily, this is the finals, because this is so good I have no idea how she was even going to top this.
The judges are blown away and think she should win.
Olivia Befus—Dog act: More puppy babies. This time it has a toy store theme and is so fitting for her personality. I don’t know who is having more fun—Olivia or her pups! The puppy baby riding the bike is icing on the cake.
The judges love how she enjoyed it and that dogs are going to do what dogs are going to do.
Geno Ploeger—Magician: It is another card trick with the word legacy written on them….and one has a picture of Howie, another with Mel B and loved ones, another with Sofia and her son and yet another with all the pictures together. He then has a puzzle with missing pieces, which Sofia has and a board with the word legacy….and the audience also has legacy cards.
The judges think he is adorable and are amazed by him.
Unitree—Dance act: What a way to end the night and season of performances! This is the kind of act I am here to see. If they don’t win, I totally see them in Epcot or on a Disney cruise ship performing!
The judges think it is spectacular and hope America votes.
