Masterchef Recap for 4/22/2026

Masterchef on Fox has its second audition week tonight, focusing on chefs who are representing the Asia-Pacific area.

Chefs Gordon Ramsay, Tiffany Derry and Joe Bastainich are on hand to judge each dish. Each chef must get three yeses to move on to the next round.

Laurence: He hails from Australia and made BBQ kangaroo with mango sauce. It is sadly overcooked, so Chef Gordon Ramsay gives him a no, thus sending him home.

Aishu: She is representing India and made her special cardamom olive oil cake. Despite a few suggestions from the judges, she gets three yeses and an apron!

Foo: He made Vietnamese spring rolls and slaw to not only honor his heritage, but also his mother, who has dementia. The judges love it and give him an apron.

Shampa: She is making halibut bhuna with basmati rice to represent Bangladesh. The judges are very impressed and give her an apron.

Tony: He makes miso marinated ribeye with rice to represent his Korean heritage. Sadly, it is overcooked and he is sent home.

Iman: She makes a lamb dish to represent Afghanistan. It is unfortunately too dry, so she is also sent home.

Jaime: She is an influencer representing Malaysia. Her Wagyu steak satay dish is filled with flavor and wins her an apron!

Fatima: She hails from Pakistan and hopes to impress the judges with her lamb chop masala. It is undercooked, so she is sent home.
