Big Brother 10
July 27 Recap

Memphis is worried about being a target in the Big Brother 10 house and Dan continues his strategy of laying low in hopes of avoiding any target but with Keesha as Big Brother 10 Head of Household this week, the focus moves immediately to Angie as a target.

Libra approaches her first and tells her that she has her back whatever she decides.  She says that there are a few people who she holds responsible for Steven leaving and while everyone else might have a plan, she is the Big Brother 10 Head of Household and though they might want Dan, Renny, or Jerry to go up, she has an agenda and will change up the plan.

Keesha gets a letter from home as well as pictures galore.  Showing a few sour grapes, Libra says that if she gets a letter from home, she wants to read it by herself but Renny stuck around, but Keesha explains that she has grown close to Renny and has invited her to be there.  Renny feels as if Keesha is a daughter, and Keesha tells Renny that she is the one person that she can trust in the house. Renny advises Keesha that she needs to take care with Libra because she will backstab her so fast.  Renny tells the diary room that April with her blonde, or boobs, or whatever is up there, but she only sees her as a pain in the a**.  April agrees that Keesha is right to target two stronger players.  Ollie comes up to speak to Keesha and she tells April, Libra, and Ollie that she wants to put Angie up.  Keesha feels that Libra is a possiblity to go up against Angie, but she keeps that between herself and the diary room.

The traffic to the Big Brother 10 Head of Household is heavy and Keesha tells Memphis that she wants to put Angie up. Memphis says that she is not targeting her as far as she knows, but Keesha says that Angie is targeting her.  Angie is denied entrance to the room and at that point she realizes that she may be going up on the block.  She points out to Jessie that Keesha is not strong enough to overcome the three who are influencing her.  Memphis reports to the others in the group that she likes Angie for the nominations, and Jessie gets the suggestion that he should go up there and have a discussion with her.  Keesha speaks to Dan next and she says that she likes him, so she wants to talk to him. He says that he has no alliance yet, and she asks that if he covers her a**, she will cover him.  He points out that he has given his hand to Brian and after that he has not given his hand to anyone else, but if he had, he would tell her.  Keesha says that she is glad that they talked.

Keesha says that she wants to talk to Libra and tells her that she knows that she was targeting her friendship with Steven, but she knows that it was wrong and is sorry for it.  Keesha tells her that she needs to be more careful with her mouth because it is making her a target. Libra is careful with her words, seeing that Keesha is hurt by her comments earlier and worries that it might injure a great alliance.

The Big Brother 10 Houseguests discuss the food competition and mention is made of having to eat pig's feet, which Michelle says is common in Porteguese people.  Keesha points out that a pig has the intelligence of a three year old child. Keesha comes out dressed in fifty's sock hop clothing with the poodle skirt and scarves.  She announces that the group has to dress up and they are going to work to gain food for the entire house. On go, one guy and one doll will search through the pile to find matching socks in a laundry basket that is placed on a spinning vinyl record type stage, without seeing each other or their socks, and they are to use voice only to communicate.  They gain breads and cereals and meats, and more meats.  Renny and Dan work well together, and put polka dotted socks on drinks 2.  Jessie and Michelle get desserts 1.  Ollie and April get bread and cereals 1. They continue to fill spots for each day, with the food gathered being what they get to eat.  They get beef, pig's feet, chicken, and deli meats, apples, bananas, squash, brownies, cookies, beer, juices, cereals, broccoli, beer and a few other vegetables. Dan and Renny were encouraged to take one for the team at one point and so they placed non-matching socks in the wine spot, which means no wine all week.
Everyone is happy that they have food instead of slop this week.

April and Ollie talk about their common interest in reading. Ollie says that he likes self-help books, and April says that she read a book on journaling that changed her life and made her more independent. Ollie says that he doesn't let people in, and if you are taking a road trip, see road construction, and not take a detour, you are being silly.  She says that when you see a road construction sign, you don't detour, you slow down.  Ollie says that he has seen red lights, green lights, and yellow lights, but right now he sees a green light with April. 

Keesha asks April what she should do.  If she puts Angie up, who should she put up against her?  April says that Memphis has a bit of an attitude and he has a car already. April says that she can tell Memphis that he is just a pawn and that the house wants Angie out.  April says that the car is worth over fifty thousand dollars and he is a strong competitor.  Jessie waits upstairs for Keesha and when she comes out she asks him if he wants to talk.  She tells him that she is putting Angie up, and he says that he thought that Steven, Angie, and her were close. He doesn't understand why she is doing that. He suggests that she put up Libra and she says that if she does, Libra will go home, so put up Dan and Libra. Libra will throw a fit because she already has and she will be out of the house. He says that she will bury her own a** and go home.  Jessie asks her if she understands how simple it is.  Keesha tells the diary room that she knows what she is going to do and that both sides are trying to get her on an alliance, and one side is going to be shocked by her nominations.

Keesha sets up the Big Brother keybox for nominations.  Memphis hopes that Angie doesn't go up because she is his friend, and it puts a target on him.  Angie thinks that she will go up, but Jessie thinks that he is safe, with her putting up Libra for the house and Dan for the pawn. Keesha says that she is going on her gut and that she thinks she wants these two people out of the house. She doesn't think that they will see this coming.

Keesha calls the Big Brother 10 Nomination ceremony. She says that it is hard for her and it wasn't an easy decision because she doesn't feel that she has two people who are enemies with her.  She pulls Dan's key.  Dan pulls Renny's key.  Renny pulls April's key. April pulls Memphis's key.  Memphis pulls Ollie's key.  Ollie pulls Libra's key.  Libra pulls Jerry's key.  Jerry pulls Michelle's key.  Angie and Jessie are nominated for eviction. She is near tears as she says that she nominated Angie because Steven took the whole brunt for the Brian thing and she was pulled into that alliance when she wasn't a member of it. She feels that she left Steven hanging to take the brunt of the backlash. Jessie is nominated because he is a huge threat, and also it is a little bit personal because he nominated her friend Steven.

In the diary room Keesha says that she nominated Jessie because he is arrogant.  Dan is happy to escape the nominations this week and credits it to his laying low and looking weak in competitions. Jessie says that this is not going to help her at all and he will see her in the competition where he hopes she will lose.  Michelle says that she has opened a can of worms and that it is on like Donkey Kong.

Big Brother 10 will return for its next episode on Tuesday, July 29 at nine et/pt for the veto competition and the veto ceremony.
