The Biggest Season Ever!

Hello, Dancing Fans! Tomorrow kicks off the LIVE three season premiere of the BIGGEST SEASON EVER! For the first time we will have sixteen dancers, including a politician, two former teen idols, singing sensations and the son of a former contestant.  The first two nights will have the couples dancing for their lives before the DOUBLE ELIMINATION on night three. 

There are a number of changes to this years Dancing with the Stars.  New dances have been added.  New twists to the shows format have been implemented.

Many of the Stars come with their own special stories, for example: Ashley Hamilton, the son of Actor George Hamilton has over come huge physical disabilities and is actually a miracle to even be walking.

Just to recap, here are our couples for season nine!

1. Mya and Dmitry Chaplin (returning for his second season)
2. Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas (returning for his fifth season and a chance at winning his third trophy)
3. Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova (making her debut this season)
4. Ashley Hamilton and Edyta Sliwinska (back for her ninth season—the only professional there since the show began in 2005)
5. Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff (back for her seventh season)
6. Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani (back for his eighth season)
7. Debbie Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy (back for his seventh season)
8. Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo (back for his fifth season and a chance to win again)
9. Louie Vito and Chesie Hightower (back for her second season)
10. Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya (back for her forth season)
11. Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson (back for her seventh season)
12. Tom DeLay, and Cheryl Burke (back for her eighth season and chance to win her third trophy)
13. Macy Gray and Jonathan Roberts (back for his seventh season)
14. Joanna Krupa, and Derek Hough (back for his fifth season and chance at a second win)
15. Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer (back for her third season)
16. Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel (back for his fifth season)

I'm so excited I just can't hide it

This is going to be an amazing season .. I think we are in for many surprises .. and because of the early .. may I say cut-throat-eliminations also some heart aches. The dancers will not have a chance to develope as entertainers. However I am sure it will be exciting to watch.

I am looking forward to your reports on the progress, Sammi, you always have some interesting views.
