Meet the eleven teams of The Amazing Race: Anita/Arthur, Mark/Bill, Terence/Sarah, Andrew/Dan, Marisa/Brooke, Aja/Ty, Kelly/Christy, Nick/Starr, Anthony/Stephanie, Ken/Tina, and Toni/Dallas. These teams from all across the nation are in for a trip of a lifetime where they will travel across the globe. They will compete in challenges, as drama may arise. The team that wins the game will win ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Good luck, travel safe...GO! The teams are running for their first clue. They are to go to Salvador, Brazil. “Oh, come on honey! We’re going to Brazil” shouts Toni, who is very excited.Nick and Starr are currently in first place. All teams are driving and on their way to the airport. Anita and Arthur got a slow start, and are currently in last place. Tina is the backseat driver with Ken and she is getting on his last nerve. She is griping at him for not being in the right lane. Once they get to the airport, they are searching for their flights. There are no more American flights. The teams are all running to get in line, when Anita and Arthur arrive. They have a short meet and greet while in line. Kelly and Christy were the last ones to be able to get on American flights. Dan and Andrew are pissed. Nick and Starr offered Ken and Tina a loose alliance for the first two legs at least. The two go along with them. The teams set out on their planes, and once they reach Brazil, they must travel by taxi and find the sandwich shop where they will find their next clue. Teams must now become a barista, old school, find a vending cart and wheel it to the plaza. They will deliver their cart, where they will get their next clue. They must again travel by taxis, where they will find out their departure time. It will be either for 9:00, 9:30, or 9:45. Anita says that bees are calmer than this! Marisa and Brooke are currently in last place. Andrew and Dan are excited that they are the last for the departure time of 9:30. At the end of the day, the teams all mingle with one another and get to meet each other for a longer time. Terence is jealous of Sarah for talking to the other teams and is not hanging out with him. They now have to go to Pellegrino which is a city off from Salvador. They have to find the big church where there next clue lies. Sarah and Terence are arguing, and he tells her not to talk to anybody. This is not a popularity contest, he says. He tells her not to outrun her, and to stay with him. Hard way up or Soft way down? In hard way up, they will be asked a mystery question, and climb the entire stonewall on their hands and knees. If they are wrong they must walk around to the street and climb their way up yet again! In soft way down, they must climb their way down 240 feet down the side of a building. Teams must now find a floating battlement that is now the pit stop for the end of the race. The last team to check in here will be eliminated! 1. Nick and Starr 2. Ken and Tina 3. Terence and Sarah 4. Mark and Bill 5. Kelly and Christy 6. Toni and Dallas 7. Andrew and Dan 8. Aja and Ty 9.
