Survivor Tocantins kicks off on Thursday night at 8/7c.  Surviving survivor has become quite the art for many die hard Survivor fans.

Survivor has morphed over the years, some it has been good and some of it really bad.  This season the morphing continues with a new twist. Prior to the tribes embarking on a grueling first challenge where they have the opportunity to impress their tribe mates, the castaways are faced with a surprise vote based solely on first impressions.

It is understood the hidden 'immunity idols' will play a significant roll in Survivor Tocantins' first episode.

One of the keys to Surviving Survivor is knowing who is who and what tribe the are on.

Survivor actually comes in two halves, the pre-merge and the post-merge.  For many the game doesn't begin until the two tribes merge.  This may be a little short sighted because it is during the pre-merge part of the game that game long trends are set.  It is where the personalities of the players are defined.

In some ways the 39 days the survivors spend playing the game may be easier than the 12 weeks the fan spends viewing the game.  Whatever your perspective it is time to tune into Survivor Tocantis and try to figure who will make it through to become the winner.
