The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Recap for 4/2/2026

 

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premieres on Bravo tonight!

 

There was the trailer, but no taglines? I was looking forward to Ashley’s!

 

The ladies:

Alicia has a big family and six aunts…..which sounds pretty normal? Her family is in the restaurant business and she is the model for the pizzeria. Oh, and her daughter is her mini-me.

The family wants to expand the business and are pushing for Alicia to finally marry her partner Billy.

 

Liz is basically the Teresa of the group and makes her husband Gerry clean cat poop, as you do, I suppose.

 

She and Gerry are related distantly because apparently, they are Charlotte and Danny on General Hospital. I don’t know what in the Cassidine family this is about….but they seem happy?

She is also a stepmom and in the cannabis business.

 

Kelsey is with an old dude and seems like the stereotypical lady who lunches.  Her house has four kitchens, 79 TVs a big-ass closet. She is a pageant girl, and her man is gone almost half the year….and also dates other women. She is not happy with the latter but enjoys the perks. However, will she stay and be unhappy while living in the lap of luxury or leave and be in a monogamous relationship.

 

This dude’s face is covered, so is she with Wilson from Home Improvement? One of those disguised people on Unsolved Mysteries who hide their identities? I want answers!

 

Jo-Ellen is married to her sister’s ex from high school. They are high school sweethearts….so, I guess whatever happened between Gary and the sister wasn’t serious?

She has three kids, who are all sick in this episode. The biggest issue with them is that she wants to work and he wants her home…and apparently drunk, since he wants her to drink martinis and do shots.

 

Rosie is a former TV reporter and one of Alicia’s besties. Alicia’s stepdad had the hots for Rosie apparently.

 

Rosie is married to Rich and is still in newlywed bliss. He is a Frank Sinatra singer, so I guess he likes it his way?

 

Alicia and Rosie do some sort of Orbitty Jetson workout where they wear springy things on their feet.

 

There is a picnic planned and the biggest worry is if there will be beef with Jo-Ellen because she is apparently the Regina George of this group.

 

There is a more than decent chance this party is a disaster.

 

Ashley brings Dunkin to the picnic. My kind of girl. For those keeping score at home, she was the crying virgin obsessed with Jared on The Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Winter Games…..and she got the guy, albeit, not the dude she went on the show for, but the one who won her heart.

She was always one of my favorites from the franchise.

 

Kelsey and her dude are the big topic, with Rosie playing Eyewitness News with Kelsey’s life.  Of course, this leads to a fight…..with poor Ashley just sitting here smiling and nodding.

They make up quickly, which is more than I can say for the Beverly Hills ladies.

 

Ashley and Jared own a coffee shop called Audrey’s, which seems to be struggling.  They really are cute together and just want the other to be happy.

 

Fourth of July party~ Dolores from RHONJ is there since she has a summer house in the area.

 

So far, nothing is happening……except gossip and the forecast shows there is a 100% chance that there will be a fight.

 

They are gossiping about gossiping. I think. This party is boring AF.  I keep zoning out.

 

The most interesting thing I learned from this party is they all have the same dentist.
