Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage Recap for 4/23/2026

 

Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage on CBS opens with Ruben and Georgie having a partner’s meeting. Georgie is not happy with it, so Ruben reminds him that he was outvoted by his abuela.

The men continue to argue about how to handle things while abuela offers snarky commentary.

Georgie says they should contact the country club to get potential clients, but he is again outvoted by Ruben and abuela…until he tells abuela about the perks they can get at the club. She is then on his side.

 

Jim asks Mandy if she is ready to go back to work. She is worried about leaving CeeCee, so Audrey says she will take care of her while Connor offers to show her pictures of Mandy to remind her of the fact that her mom chose work over her.

 

Georgie brings home George’s golf clubs to use at the club, leading to Mandy reminiscing over learning how to play and Audrey reminding her she was a lousy student since she was so focused on her outfits.

Mandy argues that she thought she would meet her future husband while playing. Audrey reminds her she met Georgie at the laundromat and he comments that he did notice her outfit.

 

Georgie practices golf while Audrey offers commentary and tells him not to think about it too much. She shows him how to play and asks if she noticed how she rotated her hips. He makes a snarky comment, but takes her advice and it works. She calls him a good student, which is something no one ever told him.

 

As they practice, they talk about the country club. She gives him more advice and he freezes.

 

That night, Audrey talks to Jim about joining the country club. He isn’t sure and says he can’t even golf. She says he can learn and make new friends, but he isn’t interested. However, he knows that even though he said no, they are joining anyway.

Georgie and Mandy also talk about joining and think it could be a good thing for the family and CeeCee can learn how to swim.

He tells her about George throwing him in the water and telling him not to drown and Mandy says they won’t do that.

 

The next morning, Audrey, Mandy and Georgie go to join the club, with Jim staying behind. They are interested in joining, until Audrey realizes only men can be members and women are auxiliary members. Mandy is hesitant but decides to go with it since she gets access to everything. Audrey is not happy.

 

Connor is watching wrestling and tells Jim that Georgie got him into it. Jim asks why he won’t watch football, and Connor says that no one hits people with chairs in football.

 

Audrey, Mandy and Georgie come home fighting and tell Jim about the club debacle. Jim says he will join, but this makes Audrey angrier since she doesn’t need him to fix her problems.

 

At work, Ruben makes fun of Georgie’s new golf obsession when Jim comes in, still annoyed about the whole club thing and Audrey complaining. Georgie says he talked to a car dealership, which Ruben says could be huge for them.

Abuela asks for toilet paper, so Ruben goes to help. Georgie tells Jim to tell Audrey that he has a female partner.

 

Mandy heads to work, while Audrey guilt trips her about working and the club.

 

Mandy talks to her new boss and as they share ideas for stories, Mandy decides to use the club issue to her advantage for a story.

 

Jim comes home to Audrey cooking. Audrey continues to guilt trip him and tells him how hard it is to be a woman and not have anything of her own. She says it makes her feel small and he tries to make her feel better by offering to take her to dinner. She says she will take him to dinner and as he goes to change she says she can’t win.

 

Mandy tells Georgie about the story about the club and it leads to them arguing.

 

Mandy is at the club talking to the owner when a woman comes to say the camera people arrived. She tells the owner he will want to see this and that she will miss the club.

 

The family watches Mandy cover her story with a whole no membership, no sex chant as the episode comes to a close.
