Big Brother 28 Recap for 9/9/2026
Previously, on Big Brother 28 on CBS, Barrett won HOH.
In a surprising turn of events, he put the icons—Angela, Dee and Devens—all on the block, much to their shock and surprise.
Before that, Dee spilled the beans about Yash taking her bribe. Trying to save face, Yash lied about the specifics of the bribe.
Confused? You won’t be at the end of this episode of Big Brother.
Barrett compares the icons’ performance to a low budget movie, with Angela saying he stole her line. He also reminds them that even though Yash took a bribe, he never did, so there!
Angela keeps calling Yash a liar, liar, pants on fire and tells him to ‘put it on his brother.’ Yash, for his part, says he thinks older people would be mature, making her even angrier. She retaliates saying she will tell everyone he is a liar and make sure the jury won’t vote in his favor.
Drew calls him out about his vote ….even though he really has no idea how he voted. Angela jumps in on this to get Yash to become a bigger target.
Melody keeps her mouth shut since she is the one who actually voted to evict Taylor, not Yash.
At this point, Yash doesn’t even care anymore and says Drew needs to go in a booster seat and act like a good boy. He also makes it clear he is done with Angela.
Barrett is also sick of it all and adjourns the nomination ceremony. He also knows the Crossovers alliance is dead.
Dee is angry Barrett put the icons on the block and says she will go after him, as does Angela.
Devens also makes it clear he is not happy with this turn of events.
Drew and Devens talk about the nomination ceremony and how Barrett is a double crosser. Devens thinks they need to stick together. He tries to talk to Dee about it, but she isn’t sure Drew can be trusted.
Barrett thinks the icons are being spoiled brats who got their allowance taken away and maybe they can work on winning the veto.
Angela talks to her husband through the camera.
Dee stands in the kitchen ranting about Barrett.
Taylor talks to Yash and says she will stand by him since he is her only ally left.
Barrett plans on having Yash play the veto, thinking he can win and help keep the noms as is.
Dee remains angry and talks to the icons about what they can do to keep themselves safe…..and blow up Barrett’s game.
There is a segment about Drew being into his looks and loving his hairbrush….which is now missing. Taylor hid it to distract him from his game.
Time to pick who will play in the POV comp! Barrett, Dee, Devens, Angela, Yash and Taylor are all playing.
After more complaining about the goings-on in the house, it is time for the BB Comics POV comp, which they have to find the real versions of, match up and put in order in the quickest amount of time.
Yash wins!
(Weather alert interrupted the broadcast)
POV was NOT used, the nominations remain the same.
Who will win BB Blockbuster? Which icon will go home? What alliances will stay together and will more fall apart? Will people still think Yash is lying?
These questions, and many others, will be answered on the next episode of Big Brother!
