Sad news for Hollywood and comic lovers today. Stan Lee, the man who co-created Marvel Comics has died. He was 95 years old.
The news initially broke on TMZ and was later reported by several other outlets. His daughter confirmed the news.
In the last year, Stan suffered from several illnesses, including pneumonia and vision issues. It is unknown as of press time what caused his death.
Stan partnered with Jack Kirby in 1961 to start the Marvel franchise. They created comics and characters such as The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man and The Avengers. He also made cameo appearances in every Marvel movie.
He is survived by his daughter JC.
