Big Brother 28 Recap for 8/5/2026
Previously, on Big Brother 28 on CBS, Haley won HOH and ended up facing off against Melody, who has been upset her behavior.
To get revenge, Haley put Melody on the block, along with Drew and Taylor.
Drew and Barrett continued to play both sides of the house, with Angela tattling on Drew to the Tool Shed. This caused Drew to be put up as a pawn….or is he?
Dee won the BB Bribe Power at then BB Time Capsule, that will allow her to exchange $5000 for a gameplay move.
Confused? You won’t be at the end of this episode of Big Brother.
Haley can’t trust Drew but still plans on using him as a pawn. As much as she wants Melody gone, she plans on targeting Taylor since it will leave the least amount of blood on her hands.
Drew wants Haley to leave with as much blood on her hands as possible, while Taylor plans to show she is not one to be underestimated.
Melody just wishes Haley will own her actions. She vents to Mallory and Lyric, who are also not happy with the HOH today.
Taylor talks to Haley about why she was on the block. Haley talks about her giggling about the tea pot thing and thinks she is guilty by association…..but Taylor is not happy with these accusations. She says everyone else was laughing, but Haley doesn’t seem to care. When Taylor leaves, Angela, who was also in the room, and Haley make fun of her and say she has no allies.
Taylor talks to La Trice, who comforts her and makes it clear she wants Haley gone next. The plan is for Taylor to win POV and get herself off the block.
Angela sends a message to her family, saying she misses them and what she does and doesn’t want them to do….only for Dee to scare her in the hammock.
Kamu wants Haley to add Lyric to the alliance, saying she is desperate enough to want to work with the tool Shed. He also wants to kick Drew out since he can’t be trusted.
Haley thinks Lyric will jump ship so that is a no go and people are just liking her because of what she looks like.
Devens and Drew talk, but the former has no idea if he can trust the latter if he goes after Haley since the entire house can blow up.
Dee also wants Drew gone and is glad he is the target. Angela is also thrilled since she thinks he is everywhere and is sick of his gameplay.
Lyric tries to get in Haley’s good graces, but no avail.
Dee tells Barrett about Drew being the target, only serving to worry him that he could be next. He also teies to get on everyone’s good side.
Melody, Mallory, Drew, Taylor, Haley and Chuk are on the block.
Drew and Chuk chat and while the former thinks the latter is on his side, the opposite is actually true.
Taylor plans on stopping at nothing to win the veto.
Morgan from last season is there to host the POV comp, that takes them to February 18th, 1782.
Pairs of players will drink wine and one will be poisoned….the one who drinks the poison will be eliminated and the last one standing will win POV.

This changes everything for the Tool Shed since Drew knows there is a higher chance he can go home. Little does he know, that this is the plan.
Haley thinks Lyric is the only logical choice to backdoor.
Mallory and Lyric worry about being backdoored. They talk to Melody about it and wonder what can happen in this scenario or if one of them win the Blockbuster.
Haley drinks wine from the bottle, which Angela loves.
Lyric says Haley promised her safety, but she isn’t sure she can believe her.
Haley talks to Kamu, Angela and Chuk about putting up Lyric. Kamu thinks Mallory is a bigger threat, but she won’t listen, making him wonder why she isn’t going with what the alliance wants.
Angela wonders if Haley wants Lyric gone because she has a crush on him.
Haley is mad Kamu won’t listen and continues to drink her wine straight from the bottle.
Mallory talks to Haley and then Lyric to see where they each stand and what their plans are going forward.
Lyric wants to stay safe, so she tells Haley that Mallory plans on going after Kamu and Chuk…..even though she and Mallory are ‘the bestest of friends.’
Despite this, Haley thinks this means Lyric cannot be trusted and calls her out on this. Needless to say, Lyric is upset and isn’t sure where she stands.
Taylor uses the POV on herself. Lyric is now on the block. Haley says this is because Lyric cannot be trusted and now Lyric is in tears.
Who will win BB Blockbuster? Will Devens or Dee use their BB Time Capsule powers? Is Drew really going to be a pawn, and if he is safe, will he really blow up the Tool Shed? Who will be evicted?
These questions, and many others, will be answered on tomorrow’s episode of Big Brother 28!
