What can we expect to see in the Mother’s Day gift bag? 

 See gift listing.  But a few of my personal faves this year include:  Bharara Beauty, Cynosure Lutronic, Droplette, GE, RingConn and Tubzi.

Tell me about the process you go through to choose what goes in and why.  

The process is fairly simple.  We provide potential brands information about the promotion and the inclusion requirements (deadlines, fees, etc.).  We reach out to brands we think are a good fit and also receive submissions from products and services that have seen our press coverage and feel that Mother’s Day in Hollywood suits their marketing objectives.  It’s a combination of products we already know we love and new items that we’re excited to try and introduce.

 

Were there any items you wanted to add that didn’t make the cut? 

Luckily no.  There is never any one item that will make or break a gift bag.  We just want a wonderful array of gifts that will improve their lives, make them look and feel better, brighten their day and provide some fun for their family.

 

What would be your dream item to add for Mother’s Day gift bag? 

We have included so many fabulous gifts again this year that to be honest I can’t imagine anything that would make it any better.  Because we are gifting individuals who have everything (or at least have access to everything), our goal really is to simply say Happy Mother’s Day with a gift bag that will make them smile.  The dream scenario is that these superstar moms enjoy the products in their everyday lives.

 

If you could invent ANY gift bag item, what would it be and why?  

I want a device that combines ALL streaming services into one single platform where you can access all shows on all platforms without toggling from app to app.  Not something that houses all the different apps in one place but something that actually integrates them.

 

You have been doing these gift bags for years, what had been the most memorable one you made and why? 

I’m old with a bad memory so the most memorable gift bag is always going to be my most recent gift bag!  So I’ll go with this year’s Everyone Wins Nominee Gift Bag … which actually was particularly extraordinary.

 

How do you see gift bags evolving over the next few years?

Hopefully it will involve AI robots doing all the work for me!
