Big Brother 27 Recap for 8/20/2025

Tonight is the next POV competition on CBS’s Big Brother 27. When we last left our houseguests, Vince, Mickey and Morgan were put on the block via Rachel. Vince is Rachel’s biggest target, followed by Morgan/

Mickey is not happy, nor is Morgan. The latter decides to be honest with Rachel about how she planned on targeting her had she been HOH. This makes Rachel happy she made the moves she did. Mickey also digs at Rachel by calling her fake, which does not make Rachel’s allies of Ava, Will and Ashley happy when she tells them how she feels.

However, Ashley wants Rachel to take Mickey off the block if the POV is uses since she still has some loyalty to her….making Rachel question Ashley’s loyalty.

Rylie is really falling for Katherine, who wants to take things slow. They share an emotional moment.

Later on, Mickey and Rachel have a chat about the game, with Mickey saying she needs Rachel in the game and promising to not target her. This makes Rachel wonder if she should be saved after all, but little does she know Mickey actually wants her GONE!

Keanu and Rachel make a final two deal as the ‘Frenemies’ alliance. Despite this, it is only a ‘for now’ deal for Rachel. In short, she knows he can protect her, but she doesn’t want to go up against him in the final two because she knows he can beat her since he is the comp beast.

Lauren is hesitant about the final two deal with Vince since she knows she could be the fourth nominee, plus she is worried that if she plays POV on his behalf, their alliance can be exposed. However, Vince convinces her that winning the veto can protect them both.

POV time! Rachel, Mickey, Morgan, Vince, Lauren and Will are competing in the OTEV competition. There is a rat dressed as a mobster asking questions regarding rats with the names of houseguests. If they answer incorrectly, they are eliminated.

Will is eliminated first, followed by Vince, Mickey, Morgan and Rachel…giving Lauren the win. Earlier, Mickey wanted her to throw the comp, but Lauren wasn’t interested.

Rachel plots to break up any conversation Lauren has with anyone so she doesn’t have to put anyone else on the block. It somewhat works….until Vince and Lauren talk with the plan to take him off the block.

Lauren talks to Rachel to see where she stands on the POV issue. Rachel pretends to be okay with her using it, but Lauren interprets this as her actually being okay with it. She also believes that Rachel will keep Rylie and Katherine (Lauren’s closest allies) safe.

Later on, Lauren talks to Morgan, who tells her about Zach’s power and how he didn’t use it because he wanted to protect Morgan. Lauren isn’t buying this at all.

Lauren tells Rachel she is considering using the POV. Rachel now must scramble to figure out a replacement nominee. Lauren goes to talk to Vince and Morgan, only for the latter two to be accused by Rachel of trying to influence Lauren’s decision.

Rachel is now determined to make a big move in the house. She plans on putting up one of Lauren’s closest allies, but she and Vince think she may be bluffing…..but soon learns Rylie will be going up.

Despite this, Lauren uses the POV and Vince is taken off the block. Rylie is put up and Rachel blames it all on Lauren.

Eviction tomorrow, stay tuned!
