ICYMI: Mom Recap for Endorphins and a Toasty Tushy

The episode opens with Wendy (Beth Hall), Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy), Bonnie (Allison Janney) and Jill (Jaime Pressly) walking downtown. Bonnie talks about how she misses phone booths, while Marjorie recalls how getting a phone booth to sleep in while homeless was prime real estate.

Jill finds this hilarious, which Bonnie finds weird. However, Jill is just in a good mood because she got back from a hip hop class and has endorphins coming out of her eyeballs. Wendy finds the class interesting, so Jill invites her to come along. Wendy is delighted to the point where Bonnie tells her to contain some of her excitement.

At that moment, Tammy (Kristen Johnston) drives by with her car laden with lumber she needs for a job. Bonnie snarks that they could have pretended not to know her if phone booths were still around, while Tammy tries to find a place to park.

At the diner, Tammy discusses her issues with the car and parking for her construction jobs. Marjorie suggests she finally get a truck, but Tammy isn’t so sure. Marjorie reminds her that she steals her red socks to put on the lumber so people see it.

Jill says she should go for it, since nothing came from waiting, using her relationship with Andy as an example. Marjorie thinks she is still angry over the breakup and Jill says it is the reason she dances every day.

The next day, Tammy and Bonnie go shopping for the truck. Tammy thinks red may be too slutty, but Bonnie says it isn’t because it is a truck. The car salesman comes in, telling them that the price quoted as low as he can go. However, Bonnie haggles until they get $1,800 off and new floor mats.

Tammy plays in cash, with Bonnie wondering how she got all the money.

At dance class, everyone does a routine, while Wendy does her own thing, having the time of her life and not caring that Jill is embarrassed.

Bonnie comes home to talk to Adam (William Fichtner) about Tammy having so much money in cash. As he folds laundry (that ends up belonging to someone else), he explains that Tammy works hard and earned the money on her own. Bonnie is upset about this, and storms off to the return the laundry, resisting the temptation to steal a blouse she likes.

Tammy takes everyone for a ride in the new truck. Everyone is happy for her, especially Marjorie. Bonnie talks about getting her truck, while coming to the conclusion that she is jealous. Jill, for her part, snarks on Wendy’s dancing.

Bonnie goes to tell Adam of her jealousy revelation and how she is a decent person. However, she questions why when Adam says she doesn’t get a parade for being a decent person.

She also complains to Marjorie about her jealousy, but Marjorie tells her she is successful in a different way. She says she cannot compare successes, which Bonnie finds annoying.

Tammy is thrilled she has a new construction job, which leads to Bonnie helping her out. Tammy complains that she underbid the job, so Bonnie talks to the client to get more money.

Wendy and Jill go to ceramics. Jill complains about it, so Wendy tells her to be quiet and enjoy. It kind of happens, but she refuses to WHOO!

Tammy keeps thanking Bonnie for helping and says her life could be a movie. Bonnie spills coffee and apologizes, finally admitting she is jealous. They have a long talk and end up going into business together.

Jill goes to visit Andy (Will Sasso) to give him her ceramics project and they finally get closure.

Bonnie and Tammy tell the ladies they are going into business together and reveal the name TamBon. They don’t realize it sounds like tampon until they say it out loud.
