The Masked Singer Recap for 3/5/2025

 

It is Group B’s intro on Fox’s The Masked Singer. New contestants will compete for a chance to win it all.

The theme tonight is Voices of Olympus, honoring different myths and legends.

 

Boogie Woogie: He does magic, juggling, busking, plays the piano and dabbles in music.

Tonight, he sings I Believe in a Thing called Love by The Darkness and it is a great way to start the night. He is fun, entertaining, and full of life. I think he is going to go far in the competition.

He quips that he can make other monsters disappear.

Space Ranger: He is futuristic and pumped for the competition since it has been on his bucket list for years. He took home gold and dealt with his share of haters, which is why he is channeling Ares for his performance.

Tonight, he sings Bad Blood by Taylor Swift, and it is quite an interesting performance. There is something so endearing about him though that I can’t help but love him.

He is besties with Taylor Swift.

The Griffin: He skyrocketed to fame and fortune, only to recently realize how precious life really is….which is why he is channeling Hercules.

Tonight, he sings Rewrite the Stars by Zac Efron and Zendaya. It is the best performance of the night so far and I really love how powerful the performance is, from the way he sings to the raw emotion to the special effects. I’d be shocked if he went anywhere tonight.

Bat: She is a bat-ass and very misunderstood, a villain if you will. However, she claims to have a heart of gold and is channeling Dionysus.

Her song is Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter, and she is quite good. I have a feeling it is Omarosa since most of the clues fit, but it could also be Rachel Reilly from Big Brother/Amazing Race/Traitors.

Apparently, she knows Nick?

Pearl: She loves performing and took any gig she could to get her big break. Her hard exterior made things hard for in life, so she is channeling Aphrodite.

Her song is Saving All My Love for You by Whitney Houston. It is by far the best performance of the night and maybe even of the season. There is no way she isn’t making it to the finals!

This is the fanciest she ever dressed since most of her red carpet looks were sale items.

Bat is eliminated! The final clue is a pair of gold earrings, which represent the gold in her life.

She is none other than……Scheana Shay! AHHHH! Good as GOLD! The heart of GOLD, GOLD earrings! How did I miss this?
