Are we ever excited about Nashville Star on the NBC Network. We participated in a conference call with Billy Ray Cyrus and Howard T. Owens. I must say the conference call released much more information than I ever thought would be released. Rather than try to transcribe the call and all the changes being made to "Nashville Star" we have created a audio replay of the conference call for your listening pleasure. I will say this much. I have just spent the last 4 months following American Idol and I have to say straight up here and now, if American Idol were to make some of the changes that are being implemented for Nashville star, American Idol would be a much better show. One philosophy that will be stressed with Nashville Star is: "Be an Artist and not an Act." You will discover by listening to the conference call the competitors will be highly encouraged to be what they are and will not be pressured to be something they think the judges want. Enough of my yakking on and on, it's your turn to sit back, listen and get excited for what I feel will be one of the best shows of the summer.
