Reality TV Rants and Raves heard the rumor that celebrity wedding planner David Tutera is being sued for $300K as a no-show for a wedding in Singapore. The New York Daily News is reporting it's the Wedding Planner vs. Bridezilla now. Celebrity party organizer David Tutera used the B word Tuesday against a woman suing him for bailing out of her lavish Singapore wedding. "Melissa Chin was looking to turn her wedding into a PR opportunity and ... is simply a Bridezilla looking for her 15 minutes of fame," Tutera said in a statement.
TMZ is reporting that Randy Jackson (American Idol Judge) and MTV are being sued by a guy named Dwight McGhee -- who claims the two powerhouses ripped off his idea for a reality show about a dance crew ... called "International Breakerz League." According to the lawsuit, filed last week in L.A. County Superior Court, McGhee claims he pitched his show idea -- which he calls "uncannily similar" to ABDC -- to MTV back in 2004. Fast forward four years later: ABDC premiers on MTV ... and McGhee is pissed, claiming he and MTV struck an "implied" contract when he pitched his concept. Now, McGhee wants Randy and MTV to pay more than $2,000,000 for his trouble. No immediate comment from Jackson or MTV.
Hollywood Gossip is reporting that Former reality TV Bachelor star Matt Grant, who starred on the show's 12th season and got engaged to Shayne Lamas for like 12 seconds, has a new show in the works. Its name? Pimp My Bride! Sadly, we are serious. "[It's] an organic follow-up to The Bachelor," the British financier said, adding that he first conceptualized the series after finishing filming The Bachelor back in 2008. "It's basically about the groom being in control of the wedding."
Looks like Adrian Pasdar couldn't flee the Heroes set quickly enough! The actor that played Nathan Petrelli on that critically-lambasted series was arrested in the early morning of January 27th for "failing to maintain his lane," according to police, on the 405 in Los Angeles. He was clocked driving his Ford F-150 truck at 94 mph. Reports indicate that cops pulled Pasar over around 3 a.m. and smelled alcohol on his breath. He refused to take a breathalyzer and was eventually placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. The actor - who is married to Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines - was taken to a nearby jail. His bail was set at $15,000. Caressa Cameron was crowned Miss America in a recent live broadcast from Vegas. She also took home a $50,000 scholarship along with the other duties and prizes associated with the crown. Unlike Carrie Prejean, when asked about her opinion on “proposition 8″, Cameron was much more versed. She basically adhered to her religious beliefs, but added that same sex marriages should not be legislated against. Russ Limaugh, who made headlines for being selected as a judge, tarnished the ceremonies slightly when he stood up and danced to a Lady Gaga hit. I'm hearing he was awarded "judge of the night" honors and given a Mr. New Jersey sash by fellow judge, Miss New Jersey 1995. Rush wearing a sash... can't wrap my brain around that one without causing extreme pain! Later all! Visit and Join TVGrapevine's Fan Forum for Reality TV. Click Here!
