The Biggest LoserThe Biggest Losr Couples III
Season 9 Premieres

Hello and welcome to The Biggest Loser: Couples! Tonight, we debut another season that has each of the eleven couples weighing in at their home states---in front of everybody. The show opens with Bob and Jillian calling each of the contestants telling them that they are going to be on the show—and that everyone is going to see how much they weigh.

Twin brothers John and James are on the brown team.  John is 484 pounds. James is 485 pounds.

Daris and Cheryl are on the orange team. They are mother and son.  Daris weighs in at 346 pounds. Cheryl starts off at 227 pounds

Stephanie and Patti are the mother/daughter purple team. Patti is 243 pounds. Stephanie is 264 pounds.

Ashley and Sherry are the pink team and also mother and daughter. Ashley is 374 pounds.

Darrell and Andrea are the black team. They are father and daughter and weigh 413 and 298 pounds, respectively.

Victoria and Cherita are the blue team and mother-daughter team number three. Victoria weighs 358 pounds and Cherita weighs 277 pounds.

Migdalia weighs 265 and Miggy weighs 240. They are the green team.

The red team is a husband and wife team. Melissa is 233 pounds and Lance is 365 pounds.

The gray team consists of cousins Koli and Sam who weigh 403 pounds and 372pounds, respectively.

Sunshine and O’Neal are the father and daughter yellow team.  Sunshine is 275 pounds and O’Neal is 389 pounds.

Michael and Maria are mother and son. This white team weighs in at 281 (Maria) and 526 pounds. (Michael)

Everyone gets to the ranch and is greeted by Ali, who leads them into the gym. Their first surprise is a challenge. They will have to cover 26.2 miles on a bike—as a team.  This will determine their place on the ranch. The heck? Not only is this dangerous and insane, but not very fair! WOW, this show has officially gone off the deep end.  The team who comes in first place gets immunity.   Green team comes in first and wins immunity, followed by the gray team, the black team, the orange team. Cherita falls off the bike in pain. Doctor H.  takes her off the bike and to the hospital.

Pink team finishes, along with the red team, the brown team and the white team.  The purple team is the one to get the last team to get the guaranteed spot on the ranch, meaning the blue and yellow teams are going home.  This is really unfair and ridiculous. They were never even given a chance. They should have at least been given that so they could have learned something.

BUT WAIT!! Bob and Jillian stop them by jumping in front of the limo.  Bob says it is not over for them. They are going home for 30 days and coming back to face off against each other. Both Bob and Jillian will be helping them.  OK, that makes a little more sense, but still.

Bob and Jillian set off the fire alarms in the ranch to get everyone up. (They do warn us to not try this at home!) This is their way to meet them and get them working out. It of course leads to screaming, cursing and everything in between.

Everyone gathers around to tell their stories of how they ended up how they are now and how now is their time to change.

The last chance work out is as always, tough and leaves people screaming and crying.  Jillian says this is the end of the road for most of them and you don’t want to end up there.
