Finale Night - Live!

That was a fast three months and here we are at the end of an incredible record-breaking season - even moreso than last season! Once again, we're waiting to see which of the two ladies will make it as the third finalist.  We'll also be watching to see if the Brown Team will once again be broken up on the last night of the show.  So, let's get started and find out who will win the $100,000 and ultimately, who will be crowned The Biggest Loser.

Alison greets us looking fantastic, as usual, and we are treated to flashbacks to the first day for our contestants.  We see flashes of their first weigh-in and highlights of the  season.  Then a closer look at the final four and their journey up till now, which leads us toward the announcement of America's choice.  Alison reveals the scale for tonight's weigh-in, then gets ready for the big announcement by bringing out Amanda and Liz.  Amanda looks smashing in the first dress she has worn since she was a little girl and the audience goes wild.  Then Liz arrives looking so slim and trim ... an yes, hubby is in the audience.   Nice touch  having them walk on to the stage beside a hologram of their former selves.  Alison then announces that the third finalist is... but first the commercials... ok, the third finalist is, of course, Amanda.  Pink has a chance to win again, and Brown is once again broken up in the finals.  Alison sends them backstage to change into their weigh-in clothes.

The $100,000 Weigh-In
Alison brings out the first four contestants.  Antoine, Alexandra, Sean and Julio.  Antoine looks to be a third of his former self.  Julio looks so handsome.  Sean announces that their new daughter is named Jillian!  Alison asks Antoine and Alex about finding each other on the show.  Antoine says some times the greatest things in life happen when you don't expect them.  Julio tells us he is a new man, and he certainly doesn't look like the man we met in September!  She then sends them backstage to change for the weigh-in while we once again check out the commercials.  After the commercial, Alison brings out Bob and Jillian.  Bob says that Shay was one of the defining moments in the show this season and stole the heart of America - she was what the show was all about.   On to the weigh-in!

Alexandria      309 now 218  - 91  29.45%
Antoine          367 now 215  -152  41.42%
Sean             444 now 289  -155  34.91%
Julio              407 now 227  -180  44.23%

Julio has taken the lead from Antoine.

Up next is Coach Mo looking good (I knew he would), followed by Dina who looks great.  Then Abby comes on stage and is totally unrecognizable!  She looks and acts like a whole different person.  She is followed by Tracey, who, I admit, looks really, really good and she is buffed!  Abby says the light inside her had dimmed but it is back on and it's a living example, there is always hope.  Tracey says the first day made her stonger and a different person.

Tracey has taken the lead from Antoine.

Next up is Shay who is looking much better, but has a way to go and gets a standing ovation!  Then out comes Daniel looking so slim and trim.  Rebecca is now blond and wearing a mini.  She is followed out by Allen who is smokin'!  Dr. H congratulates Shay and Daniel on their weight loss.  Dr H. tells Shay she has gained 13 years on her life.  Daniel has gained 23 years of life!  (No mention of Daniel dating Rebecca.)

Daniel            312 now 201  -111  35.58%
Rebecca        279 now 140  -139  49.82%
Allen              325 now 209  -116  35.69%
Liz                 267 now 176  -  91  34.02%

Rebecca has won the $100,000 At-Home Prize!  Congratulations Rebecca!  She runs across the stage and jumps into Bob's arms, then hugs Jillian.  She then joins the group that have been eliminated.  Alison then asks Shay to come back on stage.  She tells her that she has changed all of our lives and her journey is not over yet.  She turns it over to Bob who announces that Subway wants to invite Shay back to the weigh-in on Season 9... but that's not all.  Jillian then announces that they have a new challenge for her... for every pounds she loses, Subway will give her $1000!  She will return in May 2010 to weigh-in and write her own check!  (I'm definitely going to go to Subway!)

The Finale Weigh-In
Now on to the final 3!  We get flashback of Rudy from day 1 to the end of his time at the ranch.  Alison then says it is a night of surprises and now Antoine has one.  He beckons Alexandra to join him, then kneels in front of her and says her loves her with all his heart.  He says he has accomplished the impossible in his life because she was by his side and they can continue the rest of their lives together if she will accept the ring.  She is stunned, then begins to cry tears of happiness and they kiss as he slips the ring on her finger. Oh, I love this season!  Alison hugs them and congratulates them.

Alison introduces Erin who was up against Amanda for America's vote at the end of Season 7.  Erin announces that she has lost 70 pounds since that night!  Then into flashbacks of Amanda's journey.  Alison then brings out Rudy who doesn't seem to have an ounce of fat left on him as he crosses the stage with his hologram... then he pats his "oldself's" rear.   The out comes Danny with his rockin' new body, looking young and handsome and thin!  He gives Rudy and Amanda a hug as the crowd cheers and comes to their feet.  Danny says no one even recognizes him at home now, even when he in the gym and commercials for the Biggest Loser are on the television.  He says he has gotten his life back and he feels like a million bucks.   Now back to the final weigh-in for the Grand Prize.   Danny was the Biggest Loser on the last weigh-in and gets to decide the order of the weigh-in.  He chooses Amanda, then Rudy and he will weigh in last.

Amanda         250 now 163  - 87  34.80%
Rudy             442 now 208  -234  52.94% (Danny's jaw drops at that number!)
Danny           430 now 191  -239  55.58%  The Biggest Loser!
