It is darn near impossible to know what to believe when you look at all the recent news about Jon and Kate Gosselin of Jon and Kate Plus 8 fame. After thinking I could determine what was happening all I wanted to do is find myself a barf bag after trying to digest all the bull crap out there. Just a sampling of the nonesense out there: Jon Gosselin reacts to Kate Gosselin's teary TV special: Kate 'slipped' up in TLC interview. "Kate even slipped last night and admitted we split up a year ago!" the octodad tweeted. "Though she claims she 'didn't remember' who called it quits. Hey at least she said 'didn't remember' instead of lying." Reality TV mom Kate Gosselin has something in common with Jon Gosselin: getting pulled over for speeding. Kate Gosselin, 34, was pulled over by police in Adams County, Pennsylvania last week for driving at an excessive speed in her SUV. Gosselin was reportedly doing 70 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone. TMZ says her eight children were in the SUV at the time. Kate Gosselin was driving a Toyota SUV and was ordered to pay $109 fine. Radar says she has yet to pay the fine.
"I want to own up to my mistakes. I want to ask for a second chance. I want to apologize to Kate, in person. I just need to start over from ground zero: Be trustworthy, honest, have a good moral compass and do the right thing." says Jon Gosselin in the ETOnline interview. Jon to go on PR Campaign It turns out Jon Gosselin is on a major press offensive that's planned to continue for weeks to come, in which he will try paint soon-to-be-ex Kate as a bad mom, and himself as a hapless victim, Fox411 has learned. The insider tells Fox 411 that Jon is simply doing whatever his "team" recommends. Jon's backers include girlfriend Hailey Glassman (daughter of Kate's plastic surgeon), his publicist, lawyers and even Lindsay Lohan's dad, Michael Lohan. They have convinced Jon that the best strategy going forward is to continue to make Kate look like the controlling woman he thinks she is by constantly calling the paparazzi and speaking to the cameras, says the source.
It's no surprise that tons of trick-or-treaters donned blond helmet wigs and Ed Hardy T-shirts to become reality TV's unavoidable couple, Kate and Jon Gosselin, this past Halloween. The surprising news is that the real Kate Gosselin managed to head out with her kids – without a single photographer in sight. "This year, she was able to go trick-or-treating without paparazzi, just like a normal mom," a friend of Kate's tells PEOPLE. I could list at least another 10 headlines of crap articles out there that are meant to attract your attention long enough to travel to a web site to find out that behind the headline there is a whole lot of nothing. About the only real stuff out there is, Kate did her show and the media parsed each and every word looking for a headline. Kate got a speeding ticket. One other morsel is the Rabbi told Jon that he should be looking after his wife and family and not be diddling a 22 year old while married. Everything else out there is pretty much manufactured, made up or out right lies in order to sell magazines or generated web traffic. Yes, we are guilty too. You need to get your facts straight before writing nonsense - or we will all need barf bags after reading your crap. The news specifically stated that her children were not in the van: That she was on her way to pick up her children. To misrepresent the facts is tantamount to lying - so you are worse than Jon Gosselin. Have you ever had a speeding ticket or have you ever run through a red light. Have you ever had to speed up because of your children. We do not mean to go against the law - but once in a while things happen. It was specifically stated the kids were not in the vehicle - SHE WAS ON HER WAY TO PICK UP THE KIDS FROM SCHOOL. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE WRITING....

Jon is totally oblivious as to whom he really is. He thinks he is a big celebrity and even compared himself to Mary Hart. He thinks he needs a manager and claims his lawyer - Heller is his manager. Jon is living in a world of his own. He needs to get back to reality. He is not whom he thinks he is - his only true friend is probably Kate Gosselin. Kate would never have gotten on TV and said the things about him that Hailey did. Jon open your eyes. Heller is using you for money and fame. He introduced you to the Rabbi - Jon that Rabbi did absolutely nothing good for Michael Jackson

Hailey is making a fool of jon. She is enjoying herself - as she thinks she is now famous. If Hailey loved jon she would not be doing that to him. She is laughing at him on TV. She told him point blank that he is not doing any favours for her parents by coming to their home for thanksgiving. She has called him a liar many times on TV. Kate never did those things to Jon. Jon you are such a fool.

Barf bag indeed, couldn't agree more. Who the heck cares? The media simply wants to (and is succeeding at) making money off these stories. Those of you nit-picking the "content" of the headlines/articles posted? They were all pulled from other sources. I did not see where this author made any claims regarding their authenticity; the POINT of the piece, if you had actually READ it, was the AMOUNT of pure Gosselin related CRAP that is out there.

Jon and Kate both need a serious reality check. Why is it that reality families like the Duggars and Hayes manage to stay out of the tabloids?That's because there is a genuine committment to each other as husband and wife, and they ALWAYS put their families first! Granted,you can have a sugar overdose when watching the Duggars, but there is a love and respect there that you NEVER saw on Jon and Kate, even in the best of times. There are no prima donnas or overinflated egos in the Duggar or Hayes households...they are too busy working hard at managing their large broods WITHOUT nannies, housekeepers, chauffeurs, bodyguards, groundskeepers and all of the other outside helpers Jon and Kate claim they need to be able to function on a day to day basis. TLC should require that Jon and Kate both spend a day with the Duggar and Hayes families to see what life is REALLY like for couples struggling to raise a family of multiples. They both have totally lost touch with reality. Greed and ego got in the way. Kate still doesn't thinnk it was her fault that Jon left, so she has learned nothing from this experience. Jon is just an unambitious, not-too-bright, pathetic needy guy, who can't function ubless somebody else is telling him what to say and do. He will bottom out once the divorce is final, wondering where it all went wrong. Kate, as unlikeable as she can be at times, will probably bounce back and end up back on TLC again in some sort of capacity. I can picture Jon going back to court to get alimony from Kate... once he has blown every penny of his share of the money (that is, whatever is left over once his sleazy lawyer gets his hands on his share!). Whowould wnat to ever give Jon Gosselin a job. His last jon was staying home to play with his kids, and he even blew that! He does not exactly have a sterling resume or track record when it comes to jobs.

Numnutz needs a kick in his ass. Maybe you should do your research because TMZ DID report the children as being in the car. Whether or not they were is not the point here, the writer clearly said that the report was from TMZ so he did not pull it out of his ass like you are doing with your personal attacks. Except when you say he blew his job of staying home to play with the kids. We can only go by what we saw on the show (unless you're a close friend of the family) and I saw him try to play with the kids, usually only to be interruped/put down by Kate. One show he was playing w/the kids and she made him stop to move a table that she felt was not in its proper place, another time he made the kids lunch only for her to critize him that he didn't have the right texture of foods (one green, one crunchy, one soft, etc.). I saw him carve pumpkins w/the kids but once Kate was done - that's it, times over, time to clean up. During another activity I heard one of the twins say "Mommy's mean, she won't let us have fun", I never heard the kids say that about Jon. If you consider him not living full time now w/the kids as his failure, perhaps if Kate was a better wife then they wouldn't be in this situation. She even critized him, on tv, about breathing too loud. I used to think he was a wuss for not speaking up to her when she did/said these things, but one time he did (after the toy store screaming at him incident), she was in denial her actions were wrong. I can only guess he stood up to her off tv, she didn't like it, hence the divorce - which she filed for, not him. When the kids grow up, I hope they don't treat their spouse like she treated Jon as they'll probably also be headed for divorce.
