I just finished viewing the entire "Kate: Her Story" and to be honest I was impressed. Did Natalie Morales ask the tough questions? You bet she did. When someone asks you, who you've been sleeping with, you count that as a toughie. There were many tough questions and all were answered.
Kate made it more than clear there is no going back to being a single parent nurse raising 8 kids. When asked if she was sorry for having taken the reality TV show route for her family, Kate's response was simple and straight forward. She basically replied that had Jon and her not gone the reality TV route the pressures of life as a nurse and Jon as a Internet tech would have had them end up in the same place, divorce court. I am not sure I will agree with Kate Gosselin's assessment but my or your agreement do not matter, it only matters what Kate and Jon thought and felt. After viewing this "Kate: Her Story" I can legitimately say that someone had to wear the pants in the Gosselin family and at no time did Jon ever show the desire to wear them. Jon consistently passed the buck to Kate on matters of responsibility and when he grew jealous of all the attention going Kate's way he began to feel he needed a life. One only has to sit back and close their eyes and wonder, if Kate had also abdicate responsibility what would this mess look like? It is very clear that Kate is leaving the door open for a reconciliation.
What does the future hold for Jon and Kate? I hope these two get back together, that would be the best for all concerned. If Jon and Kate don't get back together it is a pretty sure bet that Kate will carry on making a living from personal appearances and writing, perhaps even some sort of TV show. As for Jon, I don't know what his options are other than very limited. I hope Jon goes through this "finding himself" stage, and comes out of it a lot wiser. Is the show Jon and Kate Plus 8 dead? Probably it is, but who knows? A reconciliation would change everything. Take the time to watch the following video and come to your own conclusions, you have had enough of my opinions.
