Kate Gosselin - Jon and Kate Plus 8Kate: Her Story:
Tough Questions Answered.
by TheScribe

I just finished viewing the entire "Kate: Her Story" and to be honest I was impressed.  Did Natalie Morales ask the tough questions?  You bet she did.  When someone asks you, who you've been sleeping with, you count that as a toughie.  There were many tough questions and all were answered.

Natalie Morales

Having said the above, I have to admit I look at the big picture of any interview rather than the tiniest details of each and every question and answer.  Over all Natalie Morales did an excellent job and Kate Gosselin was Kate answering all the questions from her perspective, sometimes with tears in her eyes for effect.

Kate made it more than clear there is no going back to being a single parent nurse raising 8 kids.  When asked if she was sorry for having taken the reality TV show route for her family, Kate's response was simple and straight forward.  She basically replied that had Jon and her not gone the reality TV route the pressures of life as a nurse and Jon as a Internet tech would have had them end up in the same place, divorce court.

I am not sure I will agree with Kate Gosselin's assessment but my or your agreement do not matter, it only matters what Kate and Jon thought and felt.

After viewing this "Kate: Her Story" I can legitimately say that someone had to wear the pants in the Gosselin family and at no time did Jon ever show the desire to wear them.  Jon consistently passed the buck to Kate on matters of responsibility and when he grew jealous of all the attention going Kate's way he began to feel he needed a life.  One only has to sit back and close their eyes and wonder, if Kate had also abdicate responsibility what would this mess look like?

It is very clear that Kate is leaving the door open for a reconciliation.

Jon & Kate Plus 8Am I being tough on Jon, no not intentionally.  Jon suffered from a lot if immaturity and 8 children do not allow a lot of time for anyone to grow up.  There are many women out there that know exactly what I mean when I say "Jon needed to mature and grow up". Jon was as much letting Kate be his mom as she was mom to their children.  In many ways Jon was the 9th kid , never choosing to be the man of the house.  Kate got to wear the pants by default.

What does the future hold for Jon and Kate?  I hope these two get back together, that would be the best for all concerned.  If Jon and Kate don't get back together it is a pretty sure bet that Kate will carry on making a living from personal appearances and writing, perhaps even some sort of TV show.  As for Jon, I don't know what his options are other than very limited.  I hope Jon goes through this "finding himself" stage, and comes out of it a lot wiser.

Is the show Jon and Kate Plus 8 dead?  Probably it is, but who knows? A reconciliation would change everything.

Take the time to watch the following video and come to your own conclusions, you have had enough of my opinions.

Okay here's my 2 cents..... I thought Kate did an amazing job last night. She kept composure and answered some really tough questions. Whether or not you like her, you could have turned the channel (if you could find your remote - rotflmao). She was very honest and forthcoming with her answers while realizing the ENTIRE world knows her business. And she was right when she told NM that this whole thing started after four entire seasons of her show when it was leaked that the two of them were breaking up. Hmmmmmmm......

Team Kate!!!

I thought Kate was very honest and I didn't find the tears were tears for effect. I have said this before and I'll say this again, Unless you have had a spouse cheat or have witnessed a child go through that pain and it is devastating pain, you have no idea what it's like. It's hard enough when the betrayal is in private (ie not in the tabloids for ALL the world to see) but when the betrayal is a public betrayal why is it that people assume that the tears are not real. This woman has been betrayed not just by her sleazebag husband but by certain family members and friends as well. And now this dirtbag is appearing on Entertainment Tonight with his so called girlfriend essentially flaunting their affair in front of Kate and everyone else. Where have people's values gone, the attitude these days is "if it makes ME feel good, then it's ok, anything goes" and that's just wrong. There's no shame is sleeping around, there's no shame in bringing illegitimate children into this world, those shame in anything that's morally wrong. These young women who hang on him were called "Bimbos" by someone on this site and someone else said they weren't "Bimbos" Sorry folks, they are sleeping with a married man, they are "Bimbos" of the worst kind.

I personally hope Kate can continue with television, with or without the children and I think that once Jon gets what he wants the show will go on without Jon, Thank God! I wish only the best for Kate Gosselin and don't really care where Jon goes from here.
