Am I the only one who believe that Kevin and Jodi are for real. It amazes me how people are so quick to judge these two.  Did you watch the first two seasons of Jon and Kate Plus 8 ? I did and Kate seemed to love having Jodi and Kevin around their family, especially to help out with the kids and for Kevin to help Jon around the house. I never once thought they were just there to be on TV.  They loved the kids and the kids loved them.  So when did this relationship turn sour?  Well I think it was when TLC brought up the idea of paying Kevin and Jodi for their appearances on the show. So why did Kate have a problem with that ? It still doesn't make sense to me.

Kevin and Jodi are parents too and they have watched Kate put down Jon for 5 seasons and yes Jon would snap back, but who wouldn't.  I am not here defending Jon for his behavior especially since they have separated. I hate that he walked out on his kids and started having all these tawdry affairs with all these young girls. I hate that he is out partying, smoking and hanging out with Michael Lohan of all people. I hate that he moved so far away from his kids and felt that is was necessary to rent a $ 5,000 a month Condo.

But I also have watched Kate go from being a mom of twins and sextuplets who did nothing with her hair and wore tshirts and sweatpants every day to wearing designer clothes, heals and getting her hair and nails done all the time. She isn't an actress,  she is a mom aka reality star who let all of this fame go to her head.

I for one have said that it was time to take this show off the air and let the kids have a normal life.  I don't know if it will ever be normal, because most families don't have sextuplets, but they didn't sign up for the last 5 years to have their lives
paraded around in front of millions of people. Jon and Kate did.

Did I get sucked in to watching the show, buying the books and the dvd's ?  Yes I did, but this last year has totally changed my views on what this show is doing to these beautiful kids. Having any parents go through a divorce is hard enough, but to have it aired on TV in front of millions of people is going to affect them even more. If Jon and Kate ( especially Kate ) had any common sense when it comes to the kids, they would realize that the only reason this show was successful was because of the kids and not them and now it is time to let the kids have their childhood back.

I read that Kate wants to do a movie. That is laughable to me, but hey who am I to say she can't be an actress. But if she does pursue that, she will be taking more time away from the kids. She has proven to be a good writer... why doesn't she write some Children's Books. That way she can still stay home with her children.

Isn't it time for this family to move on and stop putting themselves in front of the camera. I used to love Reality TV, but some of these shows are just showing how Stupid people are and why do we  find that so damn entertaining. Go Figure

I didn't see the show nor did I read the article...just the headline. These two are mad cause they couldn't cash in on the show. They were fine with it being able to take part of the free trips, etcIf they had something to say, it should have been in private. They are a great pair of trash to go with Jon.

I disagree with your assessment of Kate. She is real. I love her and think she is an awesome person. mother and TV celebrity. Lots of actresses work and have kids. What about Angeline Jolie?

Since Kate didn't write those books she doesn't qualify as a good writer! TLC and Kate are in bed together and will stop at NOTHING to make her look good and Jon look bad. Just because Kate says something doesn't make it true, she is well coached in what she say by the PR people. She claims to want to keep things private (said this on ELLEN)yet she is the one who called The View fake crying that she only had $1,000 and no way to pay the bills. Even Suze Orman on Nancy Grace's show said she didn't believe that, but that it sure made for good TV. She is not "strong" she is a mean spirited bully. She is not a struggling single mom she has lots of money and more helpers that Santa Claus!!! She could learn something from the McCaughey family with 8 kids, including SEPTUPLETS (yes 7 at once.) The parents work for a factory, they only give an interview once a year and they are still married.

Excuse me, but once a mom in sweats and t-shirts, always a mom in sweats and t-shirts? Are moms not allowed to evolve, grow, expand? Sorry, I find that thought plan silly.

I was in Jon's corner to begin with, until I saw how he handled himself. What has Kate done wrong besides dress nicer. And I don't want to hear about her work and not being around all day. Many moms work... that is not a Kate thing. She doesn't bash Jon in her media spots, she hasn't moved away from the kids, she isn't having public affairs... what is it that she is doing that is so awful? She works and she dresses nice (why moms aren't supposed to dress nice I have no idea!)

I really thought Kevin and Jodi were genuine. They loved those kids and were very affectionate towards them. Jodi had a lot of patience with them, remember the episode where the kids all came down with the flu. Unfortuanately Kate changed and became very materialistic and greedy. Because of her the kids lost their relatives and their pets! Time for John and Kate to disappear! My heart goes out to the kids.

Money changes things that much is obvious. Why shouldn't Kate get her nails done often? She is in the spotlight and you can bet if someone took her picture with her nail polish chipping off people would be talking about that. Give the lady a break, she has made a ton of money, why would she want to parade around now on TV in grungy sweats? Most Mom's tend to dress down when their children are little and they are home cleaning messes and such all day. Doing the show is one of Kate's jobs, who would show up at their job looking a mess?

Yes there is two sides to all storys.I am a Kate fan and i see nothing wrong with wanting to better herself.She does take care of the children and i think there is more to the (kevin and Jodi ) story to.I think they wanted more and maybe TLC didn't want to pay them,did you ever think of that.

I think Kate is doing the best she can under the circumstances. No one expects her to dress in sweats and tees anymore. In fact, it was Jon who originally wanted her to dress better and with more color in her style. Regardless, she evolved and became more fashionable. I dont fault her one bit for wanting to continue to work in a medium that will keep her kids in their home, school and lifestyle they are accustomed to either. As for Jodi and Kevin, yes, they were great when on the show. Unfortunately it was only after they were off the show that they began their campaign against Kate, the show, and expressed worry about harm to the kids. THEIR kids were also on the show. They also didnt seem too concerned they were being harmed either. Then they found a great partnership with GWOP and now they are "crusaders for justice for the kids". You are right about one thing, it all comes down to money....some have it, some dont. It seems the ones that dont are the ones who are saying Kate and her kids shouldnt have it anymore either. Have you given any thought to drastic change in those kids circumstances if Kate cant continue in a career that allows her to be home most of the time AND earn an income equivalent to what they now have? It appears that the only income Jon is interested in persuing is hosting pool parties, tabloid rag shows, and other unsavory endeavors. At least Kate is trying to persue something more honorable. It hasnt been the show that has put these kids in harms way, it was the reprehensible behavior of their father throwing a public temper tantrum.
