Hello and welcome to The Biggest Loser week seven and the halfway point in the competition. Last week, America said goodbye to Dina, who went on to lose more weight and get a makeover that made her look and feel wonderful. This week’s episode opens with the Black Team rejoining the Blue Team at the ranch. Rudy is particularly upset since Dina was his partner and now she is gone. Liz thinks this is all BS and thinks it is only getting harder here on end. CHALLENGE ONE Ali greets them and lets Rudy he is thirteen pounds away from the one hundred pound mark. If it is done this week, he will break the record of doing it in the shortest amount of time. This week’s challenge is going head to head at the weigh in from someone in the opposite team. Each team who ‘wins’ the weigh in will get a point and whoever gets the least amount of points total will have to eliminate someone. The winner of the pop challenge will have to choose the teams. The challenge is to run back and forth and bob a coin dangling. Each player gets one turn and they can go one at a time. It is a close call, but the Blue Team wins, thanks to Rebecca. The Black Team is frustrated, and hopes for the best in the challenge. Amanda will go against Rebecca. WORKOUTS, DEREK JETER AND MORE CHALLENGES After the teams are chosen, Bob works his team at the pool and keeps reminding them how important that point is. Jillian has her team in the gym and gives Amanda a hard time. She admits she is so used to being the fat girl but is not ready for her success. She has a breakdown and runs out of the gym. The challenge this week involves baseball, DEREK JETER and lifesize cardboard cutouts of themselves. Derek tells them how inspirational they are and tells the black team to step it up and how proud he is of Daniel in particular. He tells them to grab as many balls as they can and hit their opponent. The first opponent to get 316 is out. The winning team gets a 2 pound advantage at the weigh in and lunch with Curtis Stone. Since Abby can’t play, a blue team member must sit out—so they choose Tracey. Allen and Amanda are out first, followed by Rebecca, Daniel, Rudy and Liz, which leads to the Black Team win. Curtis shows them how to cook a BBQ the healthy way. They make turkey burgers with Portobello mushrooms in a panini maker. JILLIAN THE FRIEND Jillian and Abby have a heart to heart and Jillian hopes to help her find that love and happiness again. This segment made me cry so much—just hearing her story and her knowing she has the strength to carry on and love her life. Jillian also has a talk with Amanda. Jillian thinks she is walking out on herself, and Amanda admits she is not used to the change but Jillian makes her realize that she sometimes has to fall before she can succeed.
Amanda: 218-4=214 lbs (212 with 2 lb advantage)
Abby: Amanda This means Abby will be leaving tonight. She says the show gave her new dreams. I truly think she was the most loved contestant ever. She tells Daniel will be everything he is supposed to be and hugs everyone before she leaves. UPDATE Tune into The Biggest Loser next week for karma and cooking at the White House. Goodnight.

I would like to say on behalf of America that Amanda, you were the wrong choice. The fact that you could be the smallest person on the show and stand next to Shay and claim that you needed to be there more than she did is appaling. you are a disappointment.
