With the Survivor Samoa tribes still arguing over who won the last challenge a wedge is being driven between opposing tribe members that does not bode well for a coming merge of the tribes. Still reeling from the loss of their chief, Galu struggles to elect a new leader. The men hatch a plan to put a puppet regime in power as a pre-emptive strike against a blossoming female alliance.
