UPDATE AND NEWS

For all the GLEE-ful fans waiting to hear if the show will run a full year I have good news.  I found a news blurb on EW.com yesterday from Ausiello that announced that it had been renewed (along with Castle yeah) for a full year’s worth of episodes.  And there’s more which I’m listing below.

* Ausiello has reported that Glee would have a surprise episode for the Spring directed by none other than Joss Whedon (of the Buffy musical fame and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog).

* If you do not know, a cast album of the show is due out sometime around November 2nd.  Mine is already on order.

* This morning (Thursday) reports are out on EW.com that FOX plans to release a mid-season DVD on December 29th called Glee:  Season One Road to Sectionals.

* And just to show you how BIG the show is getting EW is reporting that Madonna has given Glee permission to use her “catalog” of songs.  Expect an all Madonna episode early next year!

Now for your GLEE-ful update!

With the students:
Last night Finn and Quinn found out what it was like to be uncool and an outcast when they received a face full of smoothies because of the pregnancy.  Noah puts the moves on Rachel and sings “Sweet Caroline” for her to show he’ll do a solo.  The football team has an unexpected Thursday practice making the players choose between Glee Club and football.  All the football players except Finn show up at Glee practice.  Finn has to pour a smoothie on Kurt’s head but Kurt pours it for him.  Noah and Rachel break up with Rachel point out that Noah loves Quinn and Noah pointing out that Rachel loves Finn thus both are doomed to eternal unhappiness.  Finn talks to the coach about leadership who finally relents on Thursday practice.  Sue throws Quinn off the cheer squad.

With the adults:
Emma and Ken tell Will they will be marrying in Hawaii and want him to do a Mash-Up of their two songs which totally don’t go together.  Sue gets asked on a date by the creepy anchor, Rod, and she thinks she’s in love.  She gets Will to teach her to dance so she can compete in a dance-athon with him..  Sue makes Ken see that Emma loves Will and he takes out his anger out by making the football team practice on Thursday.   Emma gets Will to go with her to pick out the right wedding dress after falling while dancing practice in her first and sings “I Could Have Danced All Night” as they waltz around the bridal shop.  Before this, Art has confronted Will who promises to try and stay away from Emma.  Sue finds Rod and his co-anchor in a compromising situation and walks out!  She takes back her part of control of the Glee club and kicks Quinn off the team!
