Tonight's episode of the Biggest Loser, Second chances, opens as Alison greets our contestants at a large spinning table with covered platters. She announces that they will be going to Blue versus Black and one of them will be picking the teams. Danny muses that this will control the next eight weeks. Alison explains that their future in the game lies in a simple spin of the wheel. There are 36 spaces on the wheel and one of them holds the Golden Ticket, whoever have the ticket will hold all the power. They will get to choose the teams and their trainers. If you land on one of the other 35 spaces, they could win money, or it could cost them calories. Alison tells them that if they are in, take a step forward Dina is first, followed by everyone... but Abby. Rudy spins first and gets a huge piece of cake which he has to eat. Alison informs him it is 1000 calories. Rebecca spins and gets a chocolate donut for 280 calories. Allen is up next. He spins and gets a tiny cupcake worth 100 calories. Danny gets a cupcake covered in sprinkles for 780 calories. Tracey is up next. She steps up and the wind begins to blow. Coach says there was something magical going on and wonders if anyone else noticed the wind picking up as she stepped up to the table. The spinning stops, Tracey lifts the lid and she has the Golden Ticket. Coach Mo smiles ear to ear, everyone else is unhappy. Alison announces that the game is now over and remarks how lucky Tracey seems to be. Rebecca is shocked and says she doesn't like it. Coach says something there was supernatural; she has the ability to gain control whenever she wants it or needs it. Alison tells her she must make the decision on her own... no partners. She sends Tracey inside to make her decision. Discussions between the other contestants begin. Daniel says that he is sure she will stack the teams in her favor. Shay tells them that no matter what teams they are on, they will be fine. Whatever happens, right now she is in their brains and right now she has control. She says we can take it back - Tracey doesn't have control over the fact that she loves them all and she will work her a** off to be above the yellow line - Tracey has no control over that. Dina and Rudy talk in their room. Dina says she will have no one to count on but herself if Rudy is not on her team. Rudy tells her that being on separate teams, they may not be able to support each other in the voting process, but they won't lose their friendship and no matter what happens it will be ok. The New Teams Blue Team (Bob) Black Team (Jillian) After the new teams form, they report to the gym with their new trainers. Amanda pukes. Rebecca is upset that there is no one on her team she is close to. Liz misses Danny so much and says her agenda is to send Tracey home the first chance. She says she will kill herself in the gym this week. While on the treadmill, Liz drops. The medical staff and Bob gather around her. When she comes round, Bob asks her when she last ate. She tells him she is ok, she has an agenda now. Jillian asks what happens when a southern woman gets mad. Liz replies that they get even. Dina and Jillian have a confrontation. Jillian tells her that until she is ready for her life to change she doesn't get to waste anymore time. Dina says since she didn't want to make Jillian mad by wasting her time, she walked out. She talks with Rudy about how hard it is to believe in herself. Rudy says she doesn't need her hand held this week, the only person that can save her this week, is herself. He takes her to the gym and helps her learn to jump up on the stool. Coach Mo stands by giving his support. (What is it about jumping up on that stool that hangs up so many contestants...) Mo, Rebecca and Rudy leave to eat and Dina stays continuing to try to conquer the stool. Bob takes the Blue Team grocery shopping. He recommends getting a roasted turkey breast instead of the roasted chicken. They take the food to the park for a picnic and a lesson in nutrition. The Challenge Black Team will carry Dina. Blue Team carries Rebecca. Blue team takes a big lead as Black Team stops to adjust. They arrive at the giant mud puddle. Amanda loses her shoe so they swap out Dina for Amanda. Blue Team is tiring and Black Team is catching up, but Shay can't keep up and has to stop for a second. They have Amanda adjust her body weight closer to the front. Daniel stops and Shay tells him he has to tell them, not just stop. Of course, Blue Team finishes first. Liz says she is happy they won as a team, but she will be sending Tracey home the first chance she gets. Alison hands out the videos to the Blue Team members and congratulates them. Alison says she knows this is hard on the Black Team, but the weigh-in is all that counts. Rebecca goes to Dina and tells her she wants her to have the video (so sweet!) Rebecca says but you better get on that stool. Dina says she can't take the video, she has to get on the stool on her own, but thanks her as she cries. She says she has to do this on her own. We are treated to quick shots of the Blue Team watching their family videos - lots of smiles, lots of I love you messages and a few tears. Liz pays a visit to Danny. She tells him she wants him to watch her video with her. He is shocked and says he would be honored. Liz turns on the video and it's Danny's family. She has surprised him by giving up her video for him. How utterly sweet. Danny's wife and family are losing weight while he is away. His wife tells him to focus and stay above the yellow line. The Last Chance Workout The Weigh-In Blue Team - 43 pounds 2.56% Black Team 54 pounds 3.05% The Black Team erupts in cheers at Shay's loss and of course Shay is elated. Alison says the scale speaks for itself. She informs the Blue Team they will have to send someone home tonight. Tracey realizes that everyone is looking at her and she may be sent home tonight. Alison announces that Liz cannot be sent home because she had the highest weight loss. Liz tells us that sometimes revenge can be really sweet. The Blue Team goes back to the house to debate who will go home. Rudy says as a group they have to keep their team strong. Tracey tells them she has fought tooth and nail every week. She says she has proven herself every week at the weight-in. Coach says he hasn't carried his weight. He says if he can't pull his weight, they know what they have to do. Rebecca doesn't want to hear it. Liz says Tracey doesn't know she wanted her out and Tracey does trust her, and since Coach decided to fall on his sword, she may keep Tracey there to lengthen her own stay. Rudy says he thinks they will be a stronger team with Coach instead of Tracey staying on the ranch. The Elimination Liz votes Mo. Sadly, Coach Mo is eliminated. He begins to cry. Allen tells him not to do this to him. Coach Mo tells them he loves each and every one of them. He says "if I can do it in all this pain, you can do it, too." Tracey hugs him and cries telling him she will miss him so much. Coach Mo tells us he stayed true to himself while at the ranch. He says next time we see him, he won't be on the sidelines, he will be in the game. Coach Mo arrived at the ranch weighing 355, and has lost 76 and he now weighs 279 . He credits the show with saving his life. He founded "The Village" to work with children, educating them on exercise and nutrition. He says going to the ranch helped him not only to tell them what to do, but to also show them what to do. Coach Mo works out every day with his student athletes in hopes of losing 150 pounds by the Finale. Next Week: Next week the Biggest Loser contestants get a week home with their families and without their trainers, you never know what will show up on that scale! Hope you'll join us next week for The Biggest Loser Second Chances, Tuesday, 8/7c only on NBC.
