One Passport to Go

CBS' The Amazing Race returns tonight as teams continue in their race around the world for $1,000,000. Last week's episode was a time for reflection as Big Easy and Marcy both thought about their respective father's influence on their lives. Unfortunately, Marcy and Ron were the last ones to arrive at the pit stop and they were eliminated from The Amazing Race.

As winners of the last leg of the race, Flight Time and Big Easy are 1st to receive the next clue to see where they will travel as they head out from Ho Chi Minh City. The clue tells them to travel to fly to Phnom Penh, Cambodia and once there to locate the Foreign Correspondents Club. Within the club they must find the assignment editor and ask him in a whisper for their next assignment.

Once at the airport, teams find out that there is only 1 flight to Phenom Penh and it will be leaving the next day. Interestingly Keri and Lance tell the camera that they will be getting married after the race. They add that the race provides 5 years of marriage stress and their communication sucks. Sounds like a recipe for success...

Keri / Lance and Justin / Zev are the last teams to arrive at the airport and they wind up on stand-by for the flight everyone else is on. The flight they are offered tickets on will leave about an hour and a half after the 1st flight. After a lot of begging by both teams they also get tickets on the 1st flight.

When the teams arrive in Cambodia and find the editor, he hands them a newspaper that contains a photo. Teams must find the hotel where the original of the photo hangs. It's a photo of Jacqueline Kennedy on her only official visit to Cambodia. Teams are getting lucky because their drivers recognize the hotel in the photo. Few of the team members realize who is in the photo.

Mika and Canaan have trouble getting their clue from the assignment editor because they were asking for their next task rather than their next assignment. They finally realize their mistake and then are successful.

Justin/ Zev arrive 1st and get their clue. Detour. Cover or Wrap. In cover, teams must take 4 helmets and sell them for 10 dollars to a family riding on a motorcycle. Once they turn the money into the owner of the stand, they will receive their next clue. In wrap, teams travel to a Russian market and locate the stand that sells silk scarves. The owner of the stand will give them an intricately woven scarf and the team must scour the market looking for the person wearing the scarf that matches their's.

All of the teams choose wrap except for Lance/ Keri.

Justin/ Zev are first to find their match and they get their next clue: Teams must now travel on foot to Wat Toul TomPong where they will search for their next clue. Justin/ Zev convince their driver to ride a motorcycle in front of them and lead them to the next location. Didn't Mark and Michael get in trouble for doing that in the last season of The Amazing Race?

Justin and Zev find their next clue. Road Block. Who's ready to go bananas? Phil explains that monkeys are so revered in Cambodia that people are hired to dress up and act like a monkey. In this task, one member must put on a mask and tail and learn 3 monkey maneuvers. If they can maintain their act for all 3 maneuvers, then they will receive their next clue.

Zev decides to do the task. It turns out that he isn't very flexible so he has trouble bending over and walking with his hands down low as he walks on/ along a log. The brothers arrive at the task and whiz through it quickly. They receive their next clue to travel to Wat Phnom - a Buddhist shrine that's the tallest shrine in the city and the site of the next pit stop.

Zev admits that he is having trouble and is having panic attacks. He finally finishes and they are in 2nd place as they head off looking for the pit stop.

Lance and Keri finally sell their 4 helmets and head off toward the Road Block.

The Amazing RaceZev and Justin arrive and Phil checks them in as team #1.

Sam and Dan arrive as Team #2.

The Globetrotters arrive as Team #3.

The camera cuts to Zev and Justin going through their bags. They're looking for their passports and can't find Zev's. They decide to ask to see what's going to happen. They go back to Phil and he asks them what's up. When he hears about the missing papers, he tells them they will have to present their travel documents or they will be disqualified. He tells them that they must return with their passports before the last team checks in if they are to continue in the race.

The two head out to borrow a cell phone to call their taxi driver (they had gotten his business card - smart thinking!) to help them find the passport.

Gary and Matt check in as Team #4.

Meghan and Cheyne arrive as Team #5.

Lance and Keri arrive at the mat - Lance is very animated and Phil watches and tells him that now he (Lance) is scaring him (Phil). They arrive as Team #6.

Mika and Canaan arrive at the mat as Team #7.

Maria and Tiffany arrive at the mat as Team #8 and Phil tells them they are the last team to arrive. When he doesn't say anything else, Tiffany says "And ...?" Phil explains that 1 team arrived at the mat without their travel documents so they are still in the race. They are stunned at their luck.

The Amazing RaceJustin tells the camera that he feels responsible for what's happened as they fail to find the passport. Zev says no, it wasn't his fault, it was just something that happened. They didn't deserve it, no one deserved something like that. The guys climb the stairs to Phil, who asks them if they have any more idea of where the passport is. When they say no, Phil tells them that they have been eliminated from the race.

The friends are sad and disappointed, but they had a great time and Justin says that they went through a very special experience and that they will be even better friends after this. Zev said that he learned from the race that he can change - he doesn't have to stick to a routine. He can do different things and succeed at them.

Next week on The Amazing Race teams travel to Dubai and experience extreme heights, extreme speed, extreme heat, and a winter wonderland.
