Survivor Samoa While life is all peachy keen on Tribe Galu, things are not so comfortable on the Foa Foa tribe. It is day seven on Survivor Samoa, and having lost three members already, they are still dealing with personalities that are pushing boundaries. Jaison speaks to others about Ben being a mental plague on the tribe. Russell speaks to Ashley about who she wants out next, and he leaves the conversation saying that no one on his tribe is playing the game. He thinks he has the worst tribe, but will play them all to get them out. Ben tries to show Mick how to start a fire and complains that they are wearing out the flint. He says that these Survivor Samoa people are not used to being out in the woods and when he tells the girls that they are not strong enough to get the flint and the machete to work together. Russell overhears the conversation and thinks that Ben is telling everyone that they can't survive without Ben. Russell thinks that they need Ben for the strength in the competitions, and begins to think on who will exit the game next.
Back on Foa Foa, Russell and Ben talk about the next target, Ashley. He tells Ben that Ashley is out to get him out of the tribe. Russell plants what he calls a "Russell seed" and uses it to manipulate the others. Ben confronts Ashley but denies that it was Russell. He tells her that it is not surprising that she would go behind his back. Russell crows to the Survivor Samoa cameras that everyone trusts him and fight with each other. Ashley does not feel safe that when Ben's name was bandied about by everyone, someone reported to Ben that it was her. She is feeling confused and wonders why she is targeted.
The reward is a choice for either comfort or function. Russell chooses towels and comforters because the women want comfort. They could have had cooking implements, tarps, and hunting tools instead. Russell feels that if you keep the women happy, you will all be happy. Galu is also free from tribal council. The winning tribe gets to send one member to the losing tribe until tribal council. Russell chooses Shambo and when she greets Mick calling him Mick-Dreamy, the tribe is very comfortable with her. She says that her tribe is like 90210, and she says that her tribe did Yoga this morning instead of fetching water. Mick figures that she is there to find the immunity idol. Shambo denies that and to the cameras she says that she is really there for the interpersonal relationships she can develop. Shambo recieves her clue and looks for the idol in the Foa Foa camp and she thinks that it totally rocks that she has a chance to find the idol. To the cameras, Russell says again that he is running this whole show and he found the immunity idol with no clues and just his brilliant brain. Meanwhile, Ben decides that he wants Ashley out because she stabbed him in the back.
Ashley thinks she is going home and plans to give her shoes and a shirt to another tribe member. She is sure that it is her and Jaison that are the targets right now. Mick gets wind of it and worries that if it is Jaison or Ashley it will hurt him in the game. Mick speaks to Russell about keeping Jaison in the game and he and Russell give their word and a handshake to each other that it will be Ben after Ashley. In return as a reward, Russell shares his find of the immunity idol with Mick. Russell is happy to achieve his next goal of getting rid of Ashley and crows that he is just made for this game. He feels he is gaining a strong ally in Mick. Shambo shows Liz how to make a torch so they will have light at night. The girls take her advice and create torches while Shambo uses the opportunity to search for the idol. She also shows them how to strip the palm fronds to create firewood. The girls enjoy the productivity and think that she is very helpful and congenial.
The tribe assembles at the council with Shambo there to observe. Jaison says that Shambo is a positive force and an amazing woman. He says that he would trade Ben, a negative force, for Shambo in minute. Ben says that he is going to vote out Ashley. Jaison says that when someone screams and yells at others in camp, it is not good for the others. Jaison says that he yells at every single girl. Jaison says that he acts like a baby after challenges. Ashley says that she is not wanting any of that to land on him. Russell says that Ben said something racial and that offended Jaison. Jaison says that there is no million dollars that is worth sitting there listening to Ben trashing the girls. Jaison says that calling her ghetto trash is not racial. Jaison says that southern boy, should you talk to a lady like that? Ben says that it wasn't racial. Jaison says that when certain comments are made towards certain people, it is racial. And if not, perhaps Yasmin was right and he is ignorant.
