The Biggest Loser: Families Giving Thanks and Getting Even
Hello, and welcome to week ten of NBC' The Biggest Loser: Families. Last week, we said goodbye to Coleen, leaving only Michelle and Renee on the Black Team. Jillian has a nice chat with them about how to stay strong. Meanwhile, Bob is thrilled that Vicky is still there and hopes that everyone is over the drama from two weeks ago. Sadly, he could not be more wrong. Vicky is still determined to get back at Amy for voting her husband off the Biggest Loser compound.
FOOTBALL, WORKOUTS AND CHALLENGES
Ali meets them in the kitchen to tell them they will be doing football drills--with Jerry Rice and Steve Young. What a nice treat of them, I love Jerry Rice! The training looks fun and easy enough to do once they get home on the ranch. The prize is ten thousand dollars toward a youth program to combat childhood obesity. After running the course a few times, Vicky wins the challenge.
Trainer Tip: Choose indulgences wisely and chew Extra gum.
During the workout, Bob and Ed have a bit of a tiff because he feels Ed isn't trying hard enough and giving him an attitude. Jillian, naturally, finds this amusing.
The football challenge's prize is an NFL Pro Bowl, complete with game tickets, a trip to Hawaii and access to VIP parties. They must run and catch a ball and put it in someone else's rack. Each time they catch a ball, they get $500. Renee and Michelle are out fairly quickly, which means the entire blue team is against each other. Vicky uses this as her opportunity to get back at Amy. In the end, Vicky wins once again.
WELCOME BACK, ROCCO!
Rocco is back with a Thanksgiving feast. However, instead of letting them eat it, Rocco is teaching them how to cook lower calorie versions of the food. To tell you the truth, the lower calorie food sounds much tastier than the regular food. All the ladies are drooling over Rocco, and I don't blame them one little bit! He surprises them with his cookbook and jerseys from their favorite players as well as home videos from their families.
Of course, he also makes them each talk about what they are thankful for.
Rocco's Tip: Use Quinoa pasta. (I'll be honest, I tried it, but I prefer the Smart Choice one--much more like real pasta.)
WORKOUTS, WEIGH INS, AND ELIMINATIONS
During the last chance workout, Jillian lets everyone know she is the only bully in the house while Bob wants them to think of it being an all blue team finale.
Weigh In: * Amy: 5 pound loss (2.89%) * Heba: 7 pound loss (3.03%) * Ed: 9 pound loss (3.44%) * Vicky: 7 pound loss (3.74%) * Renee: 8 pound loss (3.86%) * Michelle: 10 pound loss (5.38%)
This means that Heba and Amy are in the bottom two. They go to the elimination room, which means that there is no time to deliberate amongst themselves. Instead, each side explains why they should stay on the ranch. In the end it is tied between the two women, which means Amy is gone because she lost the least amount of weight this week. After getting hugs and kisses, Amy is sent on her way.
Ali says the top five must now pack their bags because they are going to NY for makeovers!
Since leaving the show Amy not only enjoys shopping more, but she hopes to weigh 125 for the finale. She also got to sing in front of millions of people.
Join us next week for The Famous Biggest Loser Makeovers and more weight loss and drama. Goodnight everyone!
