Kitchen: We get to listen to GinaMarie mispronounce words and brag about having dated an heir to the McCormick brand; talking about various spices – and we get fish.
Backyard: They are still talking about genetically modified food (right now the topic is chicken.) Jessie doesn’t eat chicken because of the way they are raised. Jessie leaves so McRae and Jeremy are alone in back yard right now. They take advantage of the privacy and check in with each other on strategy. McRae says he needs to get Amanda on-board (she is listening to Candace’s campaign.) Jessie and Aaryn rejoin join them, so strategy talk ceases.
Back to the kitchen: the ‘haves’ are cooking fish and discussing the relative merits of Starbucks.
Graphics Room: Spencer is asleep; Aaryn comes in briefly and whispers something to Kaitlin (can’t hear, sounds like she said something reassuring.)
Aaryn returns to the backyard where Jessie is talking about being an ‘accident’ baby. And we get FISH.
Back briefly from fish; someone is talking about a friend from school and we get fish again.
Andy and Jeremy are talking about adopting babies; Jeremy says his family is so dysfunctional – and we get fish again. It sounds like they are discussing gay men having children. Aaryn asks how that would work. Jeremy explains to her how one would use a surrogate, or adopt. Andy wants to know if it will be legal in Illinois for gays to marry when he gets out. Aaryn lets us know that a friend of hers donated eggs and got enough money for her breast implants. (Thank you Aaryn, we needed that.) Andy says that anybody that says “I chose to be gay” is incorrect. God made me that way. Andy talks about what it is like being gay in Chicago. He lives in a gay-friendly area, but just a couple blocks away it is very much macho anti-gay. The conversation is all about gay, equal rights, etc. Andy says something about a former student (no names mentioned) that came out – and we get fish again. (Editorial note – I vote for new music to go along with the fish.)
Moving back to the kitchen – a lot of cooking is going on. Nick, Amanda and GinaMarie are talking about past experiences. (fish again)
