Big Brother 15
Recap For July 11, 2013
Julie welcomes us to Big Brother 15 and tells us that the sister of a previous winner, a power member of the house, and a self proclaimed super fan are on the block. It has been a dramatic week in the house and just when you think you have the game figured out, think again.
It is time for the Head of Household competition and the houseguests have spent the last night watching the Big Brother Express made deliveries. The houseguests had to memorize the items on the conveyor belt. This competition is called "Overnight Delivery." They are in booths and must answer true or false. Wrong and they are eliminated. They
Jeremy says that it doesn't matter that Nick is on the block because Elissa is going home. Elissa hopes that the house realizes that Nick is a power in the house. Helen, told she is a pawn, has her goal for Elissa to stay and for Nick to walk out the door. Amanda tells Candice that her vote is important this week and Candice wants Nick to leave the house.
Candice says that they have to find a way for the girls to be peaceful and for the guy to go. Candice says that jessie wants to be with the popular group. Helen is worried about Spencer and thinks that this vote will tell where his loyalties lie. Helen says that Andy is one of her closest allies in the house and she trusts him more than anyone but Elissa. Helen tells him that even with his vote, Elissa will be the target. Andy says that if they pull the trigger they are going to have to be ready for Jeremy and group to go ballistic.
Elissa decides that she needs to get Jessie on her side. Jessie says that she was dead set on voting Elissa out and she sees the benefit to keeping Elissa. She is hesitant and Helen says that she is the lone woman on their totem pole. She says to her that while Amanda, Elissa, McCrae, Andy, won't ever put her up. She says that Nick can only offer her two pairs and she can offer her a royal flush. Helen says that if Nick is not evicted, there are a lot of people telling lies and they will be exposed.
Howard finds Amanda and McCrae's relationship to be a hiccup to the Moving Company. Howard and Nick think that Amanda can hurt their group. Nick wants to know why Howard won't switch. Spencer thinks that Amanda is too tied to McCrae and they don't know if they can trust her. Spencer wants the MC to sit down with McCrae and talk about Amanda. Spencer tells him that she is smart and is going to figure things out and that makes him a problem until he is willing to cut him loose. McCrea says that she is his biggest ally and he wants to keep them calm. He agrees to cut her when it is necessary. McCrea wants to figure out what is in their best interest and Amanda wants to cut Nick and keep Elissa. McCrea doesn't know what to do, go with the MC or go with Amanda and he has to pick a side. He is either going to lose the MC or Amanda and he is not sure what to do.
Julie goes to the houseguests and Jeremy says that he loves to compete and came to play and not to sit and watch. Julie broaches showmances and asks Jessie why. Jessie says that in this environment it is nice to have a companion to talk things over in the house. Jessie wants a close friend in the house. Amanda says that she forgot she was on Big Brother until your picture is on the screen. Aaryn says that she is an open person and everyone in here knows her and so does America now.
Julie says that the houseguests do not know about the racist comments and how they have affected them outside the house. She mentions that it has been on the internet and made national news. She says that even the houseguests are concerned about it. Aaryn has been told by some of her houseguests that some of the things she has been saying can be seen as racist. Candice discusses with others that Aaryn has made racist remarks. Howard says that it makes you feel that there is a personal vendetta and it can affect the game. Amanda says that she thinks that it is not vindictive and Candice says that it is. Amanda approaches Aaryn and lets her know that. although she appears to be joking, people of a different race are taking it personally and to be mindful of it. She tells her that people are hypersensitive and Aaryn says that she is not going to be mindful of it because it is a big joke and it is no different than her being a Barbie. She wishes that she cared more about it, but she doesn't. Amanda says that she is not remorseful about it.
Elissa, Helen, and Nick are on the block. They are given a chance for a final plea. Elissa says that she came into Big Brother hoping for an equal opportunity and she appreciates her support, thanking people. She thanks everyone for their support. Nick says that he knows where the bandaids and tells Judd that Rick supports him. He gives props to GinaMarie. Helen hopes that she stays and says that the fact that she is seen as a power house is compliment. She likes everyone and has had fun and if she is evicted, she will see them on the other side.
Jeremy votes to evict Elissa.
Kaitlyn votes to evict Elissa.
Andy votes to evict Nick.
GinaMarie votes to evict Elissa.
Judd votes to evict Nick.
Spencer votes to evict Nick.
Jessie votes to evict Nick.
Howard votes to evict Elissa.
McCrea votes to evict Nick.
Amanda votes to evict Nick.
Candice votes to evict Nick.
The votes are 7-4-0 to evict Nick. Nick has just a moment to gather his things and depart the Big Brother 15 house. Nick is silent and GinaMarie cries to him. He hugs it out with a shocked GinaMarie. Nick leaves to cheers as GinaMarie crying openly and hugs Howard. Everyone looks sad and jeremy looks angry. Jeremy waits by the door as Candice fans her face to keep away the tears.
Julie greets Nick and wants to know what is going through his brain. Nick thinks that Spencer turned on him. Nick says that he trusted Spencer and figures that if Spencer realizes that if the cards are better on the other side he would go there. Nick is told that there was a big game really fast and Julie tells him that it was McCrea and Spencer who turned on him. Nick thinks that Amanda saw that there was a guy's alliance. He says that relationships change things and if he lasted two more weeks he would have just been there with GinaMarie. Julie adds that she is curled up somewhere in the house right now. She also teases that if he had just kissed Jessie, he might be there right now. He laughs.
McCrea announces that he had to turn his back on the moving company for his own game. Jeremy says that if he hears this heis mad that he has to spend some more time with the fem-bot. Elissa is sorry to see him leave, but better him than her. Helen says that she was here to win Big Brother and was a power behind him leaving. He was a strong competitor in the Big Brother 15 house. GinaMarie says that he is her buddy, she cares much about him, and will see him soon.
