Big Brother 15
Julie Chen Says
By Muffins
Big Brother 15 fans are all abuzz after the show’s host, Julie Chen dropped a couple of tidbits of information on CBS’ “The Talk” Tuesday.
Chen confirmed the news that CBS’ Big Brother would start two weeks early this summer resulting in an extended edition of the popular reality show. Wednesday, June 26th is currently scheduled to be the premiere date for Big Brother 15. Fans are happy to hear that the longer run of the program has resulted in a need for more houseguests. More houseguests allow the reality show the possibility to retain its popular Double Eviction Fast Forward Week.
Casting for the houseguests began on February 18, 2013 and is still in progress even though all of the casting events have concluded. Fans interested in participating in this summer’s show can apply online by following this link: https://bigbrothercasting.tv/web/apply
Chen commented that Big Brother 15 would have the most houseguests ever. Seasons 9 and 14 both had 16 houseguests so fans can plan that there will be at least 16 and more likely more houseguests to love and love to hate during Big Brother 15’s extra long season. The season is tentatively scheduled to last for 89 days, 1 day longer than Season 1 which had held the record for longest season.
Earlier this year it was announced that Real Networks SuperPass would not be hosting the 24/7 live feeds for Big Brother 15. CBS.com will offer the feeds although few details have been released yet. It is expected that the feeds will continue to be offered at a cost and that many of the features that were so convenient at SuperPass will continue to be offered by CBS.
