 Recap For April 1, 2012

Hello and welcome to Celebrity Apprentice. In tonight’s three hour episode, we will see our teams take on two tasks, along with a double firing and a celebrity going AWOL. How will it happen? Why will it happen? We are about to find out.

The show opens with Lisa talking about Patricia being more into herself and Dayana being more of a team player. Aubrey thinks Dayana is the next to go. Dayana is in tears, while Debbie talks about how emotionally charged her team is.


Clay visits people from his charity. The National Inclusion Project. He goes right up and starts playing with the kids and tell them about winning the challenge. He also gives them the $50,000, which brings his friend Christie to tears.

Mr. Trump meets everyone in Trump Tower to assign the next task. Each team will need to make a NYC celebrity guidebook. Each team will use the Toshiba Tablet to photograph, write and design their guidebook. It will feature their own NYC experiences. They will sell it and the team that raises the most money will win.

Teresa is the Project Manager for the ladies.

Dee is the Project Manager is Dee.

The judge for this task is a great celebrity. Toshiba will also donate money to the charity.

FORTE
Teresa calls the meeting to order and tells them they need to raise money and asks who knows people willing to help. Debbie says she needs to raise the most money since she is in charge.

Dayana gives ideas and says she IS speaking up and helping.

Debbie and Lisa go out to photograph. Aubrey goes with Teresa and Dayana, and complains that it is going so slow. She compares them to two blondes trying to be nuclear physicists. WOW.

Debbie calls Aubrey, Teresa and Dayana to come back so they can finish. Lisa says she hates them right now. She says it really needs to get done.

Everyone is back and they get started on working on the graphic design portion. Debbie is still annoyed at Teresa and goes shopping for stuff for the kiosk.

Teresa feels like she is being set up.

Lisa thinks Dayana's idea to add subway directions is stupid and they get into an argument. I actually think is is a good idea! Lisa just continues to bash and bully Dayana.

When it comes time to sell, they have a mixed bag of luck in the beginning, but finally get bigger donations, thanks to Dayana. She becomes a cheerleader for the group.

Jeff Foxworthy gives them five grand.

Teresa is on the phone trying to get her donors to come in. Lisa says there is a lot of pressure for her as Project Manager. 

 UNANIMOUS
Dee says they need one of them in every picture. Penn throws out some ideas on how to do the pictures. Clay doesn’t agree and says Dee’s forehead is up Penn’s ass. All righty then.
 
They all go out to shoot around the city and Lou jokes that he has a chance to throw Penn off the roof.

Cut to Clay and Arsenio joking around.

Penn talks about bringing in the Blue Man Group and everyone else starts calling their friends, family and colleagues for favors, donations and help raising money. Jay Leno gives them a blank check. WOW. Arsenio says Jay helped him get his start and he knows who is true friends are.

The next day, the men begin selling the guidebooks. Dee is so funny, I just LOVE him. I love how Michael Andretti STILL comes and gives his support even though he was fired. People keep coming to donate money--to the tune of THOUSANDS of dollars.

The Jay Leno truck is lost, which leaves Arsenio into a panic.

The Blue Man Group and Teller come to entertain, which leads to more donations.

There is a near disaster when the money starts flying around. They hope they got everything back. Clay is NOT happy with this.

Aresnio's person with Jay Leno's check is stuck in traffic and it is too late to get it there.

REGIS!!
He meets with Mr. Trump to go over the books and he is very impressed with the men's books. He also likes the personal treatment the women gave the book.

BOARDROOM PART ONE
Teresa is hope they won and at the end of the day, she was happy with her team.

Dayana says people on her team may not like that she is not aggressive.

Aubrey says Dayana fought with Lisa, who goes on about Dayana's delays and her subway ideas and how she is to blame for everything. Dayana defends herself while Lisa keeps screaming and how she and Aubrey do everything. Oh, and Debbie steps up too.

Debbie talks about the work she and Lisa did and she blames Teresa for stuff not getting done. The two get into an argument and the guys say she should flip the table.

Ivanka asks if Debbie should get fired and Teresa says yes, either her or Dayana. Then the two of them get into an argument where Teresa says Debbies clothing is unprofessional.

Mr. Trump says Regis liked the women's book better, but it is coming down to who raised the most money. They still get $35,000.

Dee and Penn talk about the money debacle, which everyone laughs about now.

Clay says this was a horrible idea since they lost so much money.

Arsenio talks about his lost check.

Mr. Trump says the difference was $14.  The women raise $162,855. The men raised $162,869. All the money from both teams will go toward March of Dimes. 

FIRING NUMBER ONE
Aubrey raised the least amount of money.

Teresa and Debbie continue their argument from before and complains that she had to babysit Debbie. She says there was a lot missing and they needed to come up with ideas in the eleventh hour.

Once again, Dayana is blamed.

Mr. Trump wonders if Aubrey should be fired for raising the least amount of money.

Debbie thinks Teresa should be fired and Dayana is the weakest link.

Dayana thinks Aubrey should be fired.

Teresa decides to bring Dayana and Debbie back to the boardroom. Dayana says she raised more money and shouldn't get fired.

The argument between Debbie and Teresa continues. Dayana gets dragged into it. They seem to go around in circles and Debbie says Aubrey should be in there and brings up how creative she is and that she is a team player. Finally, FINALLY, we get to the point and it comes down to how raised the least amount of money. Therefore, Debbie is fired. She is NOT happy about this. 

PART TWO!!

Aubrey begins to fight with the men.

Dee visits March of Dimes to drop off his check. $325,000. This melts my heart, especially when he holds the baby.

Mr. Trump meets with everyone and announces that the teams will be switched up. Aubrey and Teresa are now working with Arsenio, Clay and Paul. 

The task is to promote Walk With Walgreens, which encourages people to walk 30 minutes a day. It will be shown to a live audience and they will need to create a kit.

Lou is in charge of his team and he and Aubrey get into a push up competition.

Aresnio is the Project Manager with his team.

FORTE:
Lisa is NOT happy because she is still with Dayana and she thinks Lou is going to bring nothing to the table.

Penn says he needs to leave at two.

The Walgreens people come in to talk about the project and what they have to do. They also need to design the outside of the kit.

They decide to add a list of things they can do while they talk. Dayana throws out some ideas, which Dee and Penn support. Penn says that they can do laps on stage.

Lisa thinks Lou is doing nothing. He wants to host the event, but Penn questions this.

Penn tosses more ideas before he leaves. The rest of the team figures out what to do with the kit design when Don Jr. comes in. Dee tells him how impressed with Dayana, which makes Lisa mad. She continues her rant about working with people who don't do anything.

It is time to rehearse for their show. Lisa worries about Lou going off track and complains some more about how she thinks things are going to go and how she thinks she is carrying her team. 

Lou and Dayana go shopping. Lisa complains to Dee about Lou and Dayana. He tells her he doesn't see it and he thinks her attitude toward Dayana is unfair. This makes Lisa even angrier.

OK, WHAT IS HER BEEF? JEEZ!

It is time for the presentation. Lou talks about his knee and hip surgery and how walking helped him heal. Even Lisa admits he is doing well.

Penn joins him on stage. He talks while walking and juggling.

Dayana talks about how pageant girls are always walking.

Penn promotes the coupons and other stuff Walgreens is doing. Unfortunately, he calls is Walmart. Dayana distracts people by bouncing up and down.

Lisa comes out, saying people may like a little cushion.

The presentation ends and they are grateful Dayana saved them.

The judges, which include Alison Sweeney, are not very impressed by anything they have to offer. 

UNANIMOUS: 
There are already problems between Arsenio and Aubrey. After their meeting with the Walgreens people, they decide to do a game show. Aubrey disses Arsenio and he isn't sure how much more he can take from her.

For the kit design, they decide to use their pictures. Cue photoshoot. They will add a quote about why they like walking. Aresnio is not happy with his picture, but Aubrey is like, too bad, so sad. Eric visits them to find out what they are doing. Eric is interested by the fact that Aubrey is doing so much work when Arsenio is in charge. Arsenio is at his breaking point by now.

Each picture will get a quote or testimonial. Arsenio wants to use his quote, but Aubrey wants him to use one of hers.

Clay also has some words about how Aubrey operates.

Their presentation has a ton of energy, thanks to Arsenio. I like how they use trivia along with their personal stories. I LOVE IT! The judges seem to enjoy it as well.

BOARDROOM AGAIN
Lisa says Lou was just ok as Project Manager and that he finds it hard to be tough. She adds that Penn worked harder in less time than most people with more people did.

Penn was also working on one hour of sleep.

Clay says Teresa is the better team player for his team.

Arsenio says you need to customize how to work with Aubrey. Clay says she is filled with ideas but sometimes forges ahead without approval.

The teams exchange boxes. Aubrey and Arsenio get into a fight over the quotes on the box and who came up with what.

Eric gives the pros and cons of Unanimous's presentation. Aubrey doesn't remember who came up with the idea of a game show, which leads to a fight between her and Arsenio.

Don Jr. give the pros and cons of Forte's presentation.

UNANIMOUS WINS! Arsenio cries tears of joy. Mr. Trump says everyone was impressed with Arsenio's work. Even Don Jr. is ready to cry. Hearing the story about his cousin Sharon makes me even cry. WOW.

Aubrey leaves. Hmmm.

YOU'RE FIRED
Lou is surprised that they lost and thinks that he gave 110% and should not be fired.
Dayana thinks Lou should be fired because he is Project Manager.
Lisa thinks Lou or Dayana should be fired.
Dayana says she worked hard and did what she could to help.
Lou decides not to bring Penn back because despite his mistake, he worked really hard.
Everyone leaves and the Trumps deliberate.
Meanwhile, Arsenio is angry over Aubrey.
Finally, we get back to the boardroom. As an aside, I LOVE Dayana's dress. Does anyone know where I can get one like that?
Back to what is going on in the boardroom. Mr. Trump says they lost because of the box, which Lou admits could have been better.
Mr. Trump doesn't know why Dayana is there. He also says people were impressed with Lou's testimonal. He goes on to say how much he likes them. Dee is fired because of the box design. He tells him he is going to be bigger than ever before.

Dee says not to prop up Lou anymore. He is not happy about being thrown under the bus.

Everyone hugs before Dee leaves. I feel bad for him because I honestly think it should have been Penn for making such a critical mistake.
