Marriage Boot Camp Bridezillas Inside The Camp Challenges
Marriage Boot Camp Bridezillas on WETV is one of my top guilty pleasures of the summer. The drama, the insight into the marriages and drills to get the couples back on track keep me captivated with each passing week.
The challenges, such as the tango challenge and the coffin challenge, are unique, out of the box ways for the couples to reconnect. In an exclusive interview with TVGrapevine, Jim Carroll and wife Elizabeth revealed that he comes up with these challenges all on his own. As an ex football quarterback, it was easy for him to come up with strategies to help the couples reconnect on different levels.
For example, the dancing challenge was a way for the couples to work through jealousy and learn how to respect one another, whereas the switching spouses experiment allowed them to see how they treat others in comparison to how they treat their significant other. The couples also got to understand what it was like to be in their 'new spouse's' shoes.
Why games? Jim says that it helps people get into their problems and feel it in ways other than just talking. It helped him get a better idea of where they were coming from and why they are the way they are. It is also a way to help them figure out their problems on their own, rather than have someone tell them what is wrong.
As the season progresses, we will continue to see more challenges, drills and other ways to bring the couples closer together. While we cannot elaborate on what will happen, I can guarantee that there will never be a dull moment.
