MASTERCHEF JUNIOR: RECAP FOR APRIL 13, 2017 MASTERCHEF JUNIOR
RECAP FOR APRIL 13, 2017

Hello and welcome to Masterchef Junior on Fox. Tonight we have a winter wonderland theme that has some of our kiddos seeing snow for the first time ever. Seeing the judges dressed as elves is probably the best part of the whole thing. Tonight, the final ten get a gift that determines who is partnered for the next challenge.

The challenge is to make a gingerbread house. They have 20 minutes to do so and as always, the judges offer advice and give commentary. I love how the kids want to sneak eating candy. I would as well.

As soon as time is up, the judges give their pros and cons on each house. Peyton and Cydney win, which grants them immunity for the night. The others have to participate in an elimination challenge.

The gingerbread man shows up for the next challenge, which causes the remaining chefs to be excited and scared. He sprays them with frosting, which is….interesting?

Aaron Sanchez is the man inside the costume and this week’s guest judge. The kids will make Beef Wellington, which is Chef Ramsay’s signature dish. They have an hour of cook and once again get more encouragement and commentary from the judges.

The judges once again give the pros and cons of each dish. Adam wins the challenge!

Adam and Afnan are the top two chefs of the night and therefore safe.

Avani, Mark and Evan are in the bottom three. Evan is safe, which means Avani and Mark are going home. Chef Aaron tells Mark to come work for him and visit his restaurant.

Join us next week for more Masterchef Junior! Goodnight!
