Recap For May 2, 2013

Hello and welcome to American Idol on Fox. Tonight, one of out girls will be going home after having a week of reprove. With this week's votes combined with last week's, will it be your favorite leaving? We are about to find out.

We also have Will.i.am, David Cook and Harry Connick Jr. as musical guests.

The girls do their group act to Beyonce and star in their own Ford commercial before we get a recap of last night's performances.

 However, before we get to our results, we watch each of our musical guests perform. Each of them brings something so different to the music world. I love each of them for different reasons. Harry is a legend, Will.i.am knows how to put on a show and David is just the embodiment of the modern American Dream.

RESULTS!
Angie and Candice are SAFE, which means Amber and Kree are in the bottom two. They get some words of wisdom from the judges before we find out that Kree is the third girl in the top three. Amber is going home, but she seems so genuinely happy for Kree that it melts my heart.

Amber gets a montage of her time on the show before it is time to say goodbye. She closes the show with an amazing performance that has everyone crying and her dad on stage hugging her. She has on heck of a career ahead of her and I am excited to see where it takes her.

 Congratulations to our girls and best of luck to Amber in the future.
